Bakeries are closing across Gaza. Flour prices are rising. Food and essential goods are still not entering in the quantities desperately needed. And once again, families are facing the terrifying reality of not knowing where their next loaf of bread will come from.

On October 14, The Sameer Project distributed 514 bundles of freshly baked bread, including 250 bundles to displaced families in Al-Asdiqaa Camp in Deir al-Balah.

Our bakery remains operational, but rising flour prices mean every bundle costs more to produce. Families cannot afford another bread crisis, and we cannot afford to scale back production.
