The Trump DOJ has dropped an investigation into a company whose contaminated baby formula may have led babies to die.
The Justice Department spent years investigating Abbott Laboratories over how it managed a baby formula facility where potentially deadly bacteria was discovered and suspected of causing infant deaths.
Some prosecutors believed they had evidence to criminally charge the company, but top decision makers instead closed the probe.

A first-of-its-kind analysis by The Intercept found that in the Army, women are more likely to be killed by their fellow service members than by enemy combatants, in a reversal of the threat soldiers are trained to face.
PabloReports: How do House Republicans make the case that you're fighting for affordability when you go back to your districts?
Nehls: Affordability? What are you talking about? I'm gonna go there tomorrow. I'm gonna get me a couple of big lobster tails. I'm gonna get me some nice rib eyes.
Reporter: Do you think the 60% of Americans living paycheck to paycheck can afford lobster tails and rib eyes and all of that?
Nehls: Maybe not. Maybe the 60% of Americans don't work as hard as I do.
Ahead of mounting labor violations, the private prison contractor GEO Group says it should be granted qualified immunity--the same tactic the police use to shield their officers from police brutality claims.
The company argued that, because they operate on behalf of the government, they should be treated as a public servant and therefore should be offered the same protections that “shield public officials from liability for misconduct, even when they have broken the law.”

For the last 2 years, @LeverNews has been warning about this case spearheaded by JD Vance - it is his plot to create Citizens United 2.0 and destroy what remains of America's anti-corruption laws.

This is a dangerous anti-privacy bill (identity verification) that the House of Representatives might try to pass by voice vote this afternoon before many of us are even in town. Senators Mike Lee, Rand Paul, and Ron Wyden voted against a similar bill in the Senate two years ago.
Warning! This is moving fast.
Congress is rushing the KIDS Act to expand the surveillance state under the guise of “protecting kids.”
Identity checks to use the internet.
Government monitoring and control of all Americans.
It’s coming if you don’t act now.
Tell Congress: No!
This is a Trojan horse that will eliminate privacy on the internet.
Why not make devices just for kids if you want to protect them? Why KYC every single person on the internet?
Because this is about control, not children.

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas was caught sneaking out of speaker Mike Johnson’s office.
A Supreme Court justice should not have a private meeting with the speaker of the house.
What were they talking about?
