The Iranian human rights organization "Halvash" has reported that Iranian border forces opened fire on Afghan migrants attempting to enter Iran, resulting in the deaths of 260 people.

Halvash's report is based on statements from two Afghans who witnessed the massacre of their fellow countrymen in the border area of Kalgan.

The alleged killing by Iranian border forces has sparked widespread reactions both domestically and internationally.

So far, the Islamic Emirate has not commented on the matter.
