I received a call from Access Bank HQ (@myaccessbank) now. They apologized and conducted the verification immediately. They also promised that the change will take effect within 48 hours.

I appreciate them for listening to my complain. This shows we can make things work in the country. I also promised them that I will delete the previous posts to appreciate their quick response. I hope no one shall go through this again next time.

Following the initial disappointment, I moved all my money elsewhere, but I am considering bringing it back now.
