يُقال بإن القادة يُقتلون مرتين : مرةً حين يصمت عنهم التاريخ، ومرةً حين يخونهم الأحياء.
لكن السنوار لا يُقتل، لأن فكرته ما زالت تقاتل، وصوته ما زال يعلو في كل من يرفض أن ينحني.

فَقُلتُ لَهُ لا ��َبِكِ عَينُكَ إِنّمَا
نُحاوِلُ مُلكًا أو نَموتَ فَنُعذَرَا.

وستعذرك كل الأجيال، وسيبكي عليك كل الشُعراء، ستبكي عليك مكة وقدسنا والأمهات في حكاياتهم والكُتّاب في مؤلفاتهم، فإن مثلك لا يولد مرتين يا يحيى.
