@MarisasHorror A recurring dream since childhood but with different scenes. An undiscovered labyrinth of caves in my childhood home, corridors of joined rooms brimming with dilapidated boxes from an old apartment I used to live in, an attic in a garage that has hidden rooms with statues, etc.

In my experience, it's rare to have a post last more than a day. In my opinion, engaging with folks might bring more awareness so that next time an article/news item hits, it'll be more likely to be upvoted.
@francoisfleuret Entropy is how many "bits" it takes to describe a system. Sending the results of biased coin flip over the wire? Entropy number of bits need be transmitted. Describing resulting microstate of a stat mech system? Entropy number of bits to differentiate the microstate.
@Melt_Dem I'm not a big reader but some omissions from your list I see:
"Holy Fire" by Bruce Sterling
I haven't read much of Lem but he's worth checking out more (Solaris, Cyberiad, Mortal Engines)
@antoinepirrone@Thom_Wolf So source available then. Might want to explicitly mention that it's only "source available" and not "open source" to avoid confusion.
@EmporiumThought Random rules does not equate to free will, it creates random will, which is the opposite on the other side of the spectrum. Turing machines & NP-Complete problems are deterministic (for some formulation) but finding solutions are almost surely intractable
