@harshbhikadia@jithinbp_@seveibar FR4 absorbs IR light from the laser so it's very easy to burn off the laminate. Need very precise control of the power and hatching settings while making your passes.
The OP uses a 355nm UV laser which is much more effective in this setting, copper responds better there.
@harshbhikadia@jithinbp_@seveibar@harshbhikadia this is from October 2025 on Makenica's fiber laser engraver. This is the cleanest I could manage on a FR4 board managing the settings.
You can see the top attempt burnt off the middle because the laser got a bit too aggressive.
Going to take a break from here as the cost-benefit ratio of being in this space for me has declined beyond a threshold. If you’re a mutual and we don’t have alternate means to talk, please DM (I’ll check once before leaving). Otherwise please find other ways to reach via my bio.
@dravishakatoch I would move the recovery partition to the end or unallocated space, but this is not something you can do from Windows when you are booted within it.
Like one of the responses below mention, I would do this with a live Ubuntu pen drive and GParted that comes builtin.
@monali_dambre You might be actually right about this. I recently found a video that should pretty much serve as a warning sign - https://t.co/48dbUA3Fz9
@kritipraaa Ted Lasso is the only TV series I've watched, not regretted and whole heartedly recommend to anyone. It's a masterclass in leading with empathy and kindness.

@paraschopra I actually wrote about this on my personal website as a "LLM Policy" article - https://t.co/IwPSUxx7hb
The website itself does not have many articles yet, but I'm looking to kickstart it (have some drafts).
@mgill25 I'm in India, and a cheap Eureka Forbes cordless vacuum that I purchased years ago (and rediscovered after putting it back in the closet for some years) is such a QoL improvement - costed 200 at the time of purchase. You can't go wrong with almost any model today.
@sahajsarup The site now has a message saying that the server went down.
sigrok has a GitHub mirror so the code should not be impacted. Things should be back soon
@herecomsthesan The opposite is a perpetual state of dissatisfaction even as you are achieving things. If you have managed to make the switch, good for you!
