On 19th May, two Lepcha women weavers from North Sikkim were invited by the Hon'ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu in recognition of Sikkim’s contribution to the Republic Day “At Home” invitation kit.
Through the SECURE Himalaya project, supported by @UNDP_India, women in Dzongu revived traditional nettle weaving while supporting fragile Himalayan ecosystems 🌿🏔️
The project has concluded but the impact continues 💚

Stronger partnerships drive progress on the #SDGs.
A team from India's @MoHFW_India and @UNDP_India met officials from the Ministry of Health, Lao PDR and @UNDPLaoPDR to deepen South-South collaboration. The discussions focused on how India’s digital vaccine supply chain platform, #eVIN, can support Lao PDR in expanding fair and reliable access to vaccines.
The team also connected with health workers, technical partners and the @IndianEmbLaos to plan the upcoming #eVIN pilot and align on next steps.
