@MohanMOdisha Interestingly, its your government which let go of 1L crores of mining dues for Odisha, which could have been channeled towards development of the tribal communities you speak about.
@PMOIndia - This rebuke on Odisha and its people will not go unpunished
@manas_muduli They are good and prompt. Had complained over twitter around streetlights which they attended to @safabhubaneswar (Doesnt mean the larger issue around streetlight failures is adressed)
@Utkala_Kalinga Haha, they are trying very hard in this term itself. Have managed to achieve dark streets across Bbsr already with barely any streetlights working. Next up is potholled roads
#WATCH | Bhubaneswar | Streetlight poles line the road, but there is no light. This is Sailashree Vihar, right in the heart of Bhubaneswar.
After sunset, the stretch turns completely dark, with several streetlights lying defunct. #Odisha
@manas_muduli Another pipe dream being peddled. In the recent allocations of PM e Buses, the city of Chandigarh was allocated more buses than entire Odisha (428 vs 400)
@AprajitaSarangi@PrakashJavdekar@BJP4India@PMOIndia Will appreciate taking up of the 1Lakh crore of pending mining dues for Odisha. Havent seen any update on it from your side. You owe this to your constituents.
I really had no real hope from the Odisha BJP MPs or the CM @MohanMOdisha They are out to sell Odia Asmita and lack a spine. I believe time has now come for young Odia's to seek a real new dynamic front, which can represent Odia interests nationally
The new MMDR Bill ensures Odisha's people have lost an estimated Rs 1.5L crore (5 yrs). Money that could have gone in building roads, schools, improving livelihoods. What has been truly disappointing is how @rashtrapatibhvn and @Naveen_Odisha have responded.
@AbhiNdy@sambitswaraj Absolute silence on Odisha losing revenue via MMDR, Odisha being deprived of Infra (Check India Expressway network). Seems like the BJP MPs from Odisha represent Gujarat instead.
@ayomip01@prasantabiswal@sambitswaraj Mining has also been a resource curse than an asset. But atleast, it gives state govt fiscal space to reimagine quality of living for the next century. That fiscal space is also being taken away (Similar to the freight equalization policy)
@ayomip01@prasantabiswal@sambitswaraj Building a Sanand needs Infra and a non rent seeking ecosystem. Currently, Odisha ranks bottom in terms of Central Govt Infra buildout. Be it Highways, Railways, Industrial Cluster Infra among others, we are at the very bottom in terms of Central priority.
@prasantabiswal@AprajitaSarangi Would love to hear thoughts of our MP - @AprajitaSarangi. Infra projects for Bbsr and Odisha have made little to no progress. Mining revenue from Odisha will now be used to fund Expressways and Olympic level Infra
for Gujarat and North Indian states.
