Accessibility is important for me every day as a screen reader & magnifier user. So is usability. Just realized It's my one year anniversary as a tester at @makeitfable & I'm so happy to be working for an organization where accessibility & usability are pushed forward, together!

Imagine not being able to complete critical tasks you need to access services on the internet, such as adding an item to your cart or scheduling a call.

Most of the internet still remains unusable to people with disabilities who use assistive technology. That’s bananas!

As a screen reader user, unusable websites are disabling. An average unsatisfactory score of 56 for usability is not surprising and reflects the frustrating inaccessibility of so much of the web. This is why usability testing with users with disabilities is so important! #a11y
