We are thrilled to have been shortlisted! Our project aims to improve health inequalities and accessibility for our home ventilation users, who struggle to access care due to disability. We hope the @theQCommunity will support and vote for our project! https://t.co/OsjsR3n6Ln
As a respiratory clinician I will continue to wear my mask come Monday everywhere I go but also encourage my family, friends & patients
Yes it’s warm but it’s not a patch on wearing full PPE inside a hospital for 12 hrs
Why? 54,674 people tested positive today in the UK
NHS patients, staff and visitors must continue to wear face coverings and follow social distancing measures in healthcare settings.
Please help us to reduce the risk of infection for our staff and patients by following the guidance. https://t.co/sV042F912N
I love the "masks and vaccines don't offer complete protection so there's no point" crowd
Sure Clive bunchofnumbers, one time I did a rectal examination and some poop got on my arm in spite of wearing gloves, so from now on I'm going in with NO GLOVES
Today is National ICU Rehabilitation Day.
We are supporting the @ICUsteps#RehabIsCritical campaign to demand improved services for intensive care patients after leaving hospital.

Respiratory Physios are helping to save lives all over the world. For those of you who’d like to know more, here are some of the things a respiratory physio does on a #COVIDー19#CPAP unit:
#COVID19 has been declared a major incident in London & we’ve had a record of 1,325 deaths today - yet on my way home I saw pharmacists in Boots, people in Tesco & 10+ in the takeaway without masks!? Are people stupid or do they simply not care?? I’m confused!!??
Congratulations to the six physios who received awards in the New Year’s Honours list!
Find out more about their vital contributions to healthcare, physiotherapy research, end of life care, health education and services during the Covid-19 pandemic.

BREAKING BBC:
"The BBC is to deliver the biggest education offer in its history across more of its platforms."
From Monday January 11th, CBBC channel will feature three-hours of primary school shows to ensure that all kids can watch programming if they don't have the internet.
I've had elderly patients say to me "I don't understand how I got COVID, I've been so careful. I wear a mask, clean my hands, and only go out to the shops" through tears and the oxygen mask.
The problem is that no matter how careful you are, actions of individuals affect others.
I would happily give Chris Whitty any hat of his choice from my collection. That man has a tough job, and he's doing it with professionalism, integrity, and dignity.
@physiotalk I would love to see more adverts (like the FAST one) on the TV/posters in GP waiting rooms etc around deconditioning/impact of being in hospital unnecessarily, we need it to become part of everyday discussion amongst the public #physiotalk

The result of approx 30 mins full ppe in the ICU & people have the audacity to moan about having to wear masks on public transport. Bless all the healthcare workers sweating it out for HOURS looking after the sickest patients, absolute superheroes
There was a bend in the road. We didn’t know what lied around that bend, but we hoped for the best and kept going ... the last CoVId patient was discharged @chelwestICU 👏👏👏👏👏👏 #PROUD
