@jhuber@zachweinberg Been covering COVID-19 rapid testing for couple of years. I don't think FDA has been the main issue, also question whether Euro test approach has been that effective (look at UK). Wrote about it here:

@grandpawrinkles Idea is when you use serially even if first test is outside the detection window and negative (too early, for instance) you'll pick it up next time you test -- so, still possibly a period where you are infected but not aware, but better than if you just did a single test early
