Was listening to an interview with David Benatar where the audience was asking questions. It's astonishing to what length people can go to convince themselves their lives mean something and it isn't all that bad.
I am at that point in life when I know things will not turn out as I planned because my planning was based on the bullshit society taught me about life. I wish I were told the truth. It wouldn't have stopped the nightmare, but at least I would have been prepared.
