@guillefix @matbogus I would honestly argue that any 'correlations' that get completely ate up by a tiny amount of added noise were honestly not that statistically significant to begin with, so in a medical context specifically you aren't losing much of interest anyway.

@guillefix @matbogus Well that is precisely what makes it a viable strategy to make everyone happy, you can set the epsilon values to a very low level of protection if people agree to it. That way people have some very low privacy whilst preserving most of the cross-correlations.
