@laurenonline OPP spokesman Kerry Schmidt blames this on the drivers. This is terrifying. I have avoided this ramp on clear summer days. It appears to be in many opinions the negligence of the MTO & OPP for this poor women's death as there was no longer a guardrail but a ramp. It was not safe.

@BeachLoverOnt What I would like is for the police to do blitzes on gig food delivery drivers. Many of them are breaching their policies and would not be covered in the event of an accident while doing these deliveries.

@BeachLoverOnt I think it would be linked to the insurance like the police services are. I think with the licence plate readers that are on the OPP and many police services vehicles I don't think you would get away with it for long.

@LilOldAl So I have been hit by a certain visible minority once in a crosswalk and have had multiple of this same minority drive in front of me in a crosswalk. Yet I don't act like a racist and generalize ALL people matching the same description. Look in the mirror.

@Eric_P8 @colinmckerrache @wholemars I still have a 2012 volt. I anticipate 2 maybe 3 tanks of gas for the whole year. I live in a cold climate and still get around on electricity mainly. Gas here is expensive, electricity isn't.
