A thief cannot be a donor.
๐ STOP! Labeling public expenditures as President Salva Kiir's "DONATIONS" when using the very wealth you have stolen to perform basic administrative duties is not a favor, it is a crime.

๐๐ฎ๐๐, ๐๐/๐๐/๐๐๐๐ โ Today, Tuesday my team and I, visited the National Public Health Institute (NPHI) alongside Minister of Health Hon. Luke Thompson to assess our preparedness as a nation against the threat of Ebola.
During our visit to the facility, health officials appreciated efforts and support of the ASK Foundation, particularly during the recent cholera outbreak in Pibor, where the foundation donated critical medical supplies. They also acknowledged the contributions of UNICEF @UNICEF and the World Health Organization (WHO) @WHO.
Present at the facility were many of our health partners who welcomed us citing that our visit is encouraging and also demonstrates government's commitment to Health in Emergencies. The partners equally highlighted challenges facing preparedness efforts, including logistical constraints. They further called for stronger border control measures to prevent the spread of Ebola into the Republic #SouthSudan noting that the latest strain is highly contagious and can initially be mistaken for diseases such as malaria.
Minister of Health Hon. Luke Thompson expressed President Salva Kiir Mayardit full knowledge and the concerns related to the Ebola threat and its implications for national security, assuring that the government will actively support preparedness efforts.
I reaffirmed that health remains a top priority under my office as the Envoy for Special programs, and I emphasized the need for civic education, public awareness, and personal responsibility in preventing disease outbreaks. I, also stressed the importance of building strong institutions capable of responding to future health emergencies.
As our support to the ongoing rigorous preparedness measures and efforts, my office on behalf of H.E President Salva Kiir Mayardit donated 10 vehicles to strengthen logistics and facilitate the transportation of medical supplies across the country.
We, later toured the Infectious Diseases Unit (IDU) in Jebel, where we were briefed thoroughly on the facility's readiness to manage potential Ebola cases. I was pleased with the dedication and efforts of health workers, and I assured them the governmentโs continued support.
We concluded our today's duties by calling for long-term investment in public health systems and expressed hope that #SouthSudan shall remain free of Ebola cases.

@choljoey Because SSD is Salva Kiir's kingdom, he is the commander in chief, the supreme leader, ayatollah, the alpha and omega, the visionary & revolutionary liberator, dictator & so on.
He must approve everything. Why do we need functional institutions when we have him? Don't be silly.
The Kiir regime claims sanctions, asset freezes & the arms embargo hinder development & its ability to protect its citizens and borders.
After 21 years of trading nation-building for systemic looting, division & massacres.
Too much gaslighting, zero productivity
#KiirMustGo
@choljoey These people are not there to represent anybody or to serve. They are there for the status and lifestyle. They ignore the fact that a leader is a public servant and representative.
Denying the massacre of the Nuer while sitting in regime-funded chairs is the ultimate betrayal.
Nuer Executive Caucus, your people are being displaced, hunted & slaughtered while you remain safe in luxury. You aren't leaders; you are just bough & paid-for traitors #SouthSudan
Bad governance and misuse of revenue by South Sudanโs own leaders are at the root of the continued marginalization of the South Sudanese people. We welcome the UN Security Council renewal of the South Sudan Sanctions regime, which reflects the lack of progress due to a lack of political will.

@SSGglobal Like it or not, it's the truth. The difference is like day and night. Even though Uganda is underdeveloped, compared to South Sudan it is very developed .
True leadership means defending the people, not protecting the elite.
Amb. Garang Deng Aguer knows the severe risks of challenging the government, yet he refuses to be silenced. I stand with his immense courage today. โ๐ฝ #StandWithGarang#Accountability#SouthSuda#KiirMustGo
While average citizens earn barely $200/month, often unpaid for nearly two years, our MPs get $5,000 medical allowances yet still complain itโs not enough for treatment abroad.
How about building hospitals at home instead?
The whole leadership system in #SouthSudan is crooked.
โFree at Lastโ was meant to be the beginning, not the ceiling.
the path forward for #SouthSudan must shift from mere survival to development, security & ambitious governance that every citizen hoping for.
We need more than independence we need a nation that works for everyone.
@GatluakPal70 Brother, I was just exaggerating and being generous by saying barely $200, which is still very low when our MPs get $5,000 as medical allowance. I'm genuinely curious: why do you go to work? Because by the time you get that $100, it's all for paying back debt.
