I don't support the encroachment drive in Bengaluru by GBA. Absolutely bad decision.
You don't fix the roads, the potholes, the waste, no proper toilets for Jana, no relaxation points during the day, lakes are polluted , unusable and encroached by land mafia, basic city sanitation and drainage is not there. The vendors needed an allocation elsewhere not be treated like immigrants. . No one talks about the hair loss caused by bengaluru water.

You can check any parameter you want to, you would find improvement on each one of those, we're way better than what we used to 10-15 years ago. Just that bar has been raised a lot so people stay pessimistic. Good to have high standards but that shouldn't blur the reality.
