Political differences, we can understand. But laughing at and participating in a derogatory, insulting act about the Prime MinisterтАЩs late mother is not politics, it is a failure of your upbringing.
When political opposition reaches a point where someoneтАЩs departed mother becomes a subject of mockery, the question is no longer about political ideology. It is about values, sensitivity and basic human decency.
What kind of politics celebrates an insult to a deceased mother? What happened to the most basic lessons of respect?
You may oppose PM Narendra Modi ji. You may criticise his government. But mocking his late mother and laughing along is a line no decent public discourse should cross.
India is watching. And this time, the question is not about politics. It is about your character.
With so much bitterness, you will self-destruct.
Javed Akhtar claims Sholay's temple scene where Lord Shiva and Hinduism were mocked can't be screened in today's India.
Wrong, Javed saab. You can screen it even today, just that in today's India, Hindus will ask you why you never had the guts to mock Allah or Islam similarly.

This was Akku Yadav, an alleged gangster in Nagpur, accused of raping around 40 women. In 2004, around 200 women stormed a courtroom, reportedly stabbing him 70+ times and forcing chili powder into his throat. He allegedly bribed police to escape, until his victims took matters into their own hands.
The chilli powder was a nice touch. For context, Nagpur food is famous for being some of the spiciest in the country. So you best believe that chilli powder was borderline chemical warfare.
It was so hot that chopping off his dick was just mentioned as an aside.
Akku died 15 minutes later. Dickless and bloodless.
"Hundreds of women marched to the courthouse carrying vegetable knives and chili powder, walked into the courtroom and took seats near the front.
Akku walked in and was confident and unrepentant. At about 2:30 to 3:00 PM, when Akku appeared, he saw a woman he had raped. Akku mocked her, called her a prostitute and said he would rape her again.
The police laughed. The woman started hitting him on the head with her footwear. She told Akku either she would kill him or he would have to kill her saying, "We can't both live on this Earth together. It's you or me."
Akku was then lynched by the mob of 200-400 women who showed up. He was stabbed at least 70 times, and chili powder and stones were thrown in his face.
The chili powder was also thrown into the faces of police officers who guarded him. The police officers, overwhelmed and terrified, fled immediately. One of his alleged victims also hacked off his penis.
The lynching occurred in Nagpur District Court No. 7 on the marble floor of the courtroom. As he was being lynched, Akku was horrified and shouted: "Forgive me! I won't do it again!".
The women passed their knives around and kept stabbing him; each woman agreed to stab Akku at least once. His blood was on the floors and walls of the courtroom. Akku died 15 minutes later; he was 32 years old. The mob continued attacking his corpse post-mortem.
All the women returned to to tell their husbands and fathers they had killed Akku. They celebrated, and families put on music and danced in the streets. They bought food and handed out fruit to their friends. Five women were arrested immediately but released following demonstrations in the city. Every woman living in the locality claimed responsibility for the lynching.
Arnab's Pure Gold As Naraaz FooFaa Ji Song For Rahul Goes Viral
Congress Sulks Over BRICS
Twenty-three years ago, Rahul Gandhi made his political debut, hailed by the Lutyens media as India's brightest new hope. Today, Arnab argues, that promise has curdled into something else entirely: the тАШNaraaz FooFaaтАЩ of Indian politics a perpetually disgruntled uncle who finds fault in every national achievement. In this fiery segment, Arnab traces Rahul Gandhi's journey from his hyped 2003 debut to his controversial Parliament moments, including the viral wink and the aisle-crossing hug attempt with PM Modi.
He then rattles off a long list of grievances raised by the 'Naraaz Fufa brigade' from the Statue of Unity and Vande Bharat trains to India's 7.8% GDP growth, the Dedicated Freight Corridor, and the Semicon India push questioning why achievements are met with criticism instead of celebration.
The episode closes with viral meme videos mocking the opposition's constant negativity ЁЯШЕ
