Today we had the honor of welcoming a team from @ActionaidTz to our office in Kasulu for a partnership engagement visit.
The visit created a valuable space to exchange ideas, highlight our community impact and explore partnership opportunities that can support climate
justice, social empowerment and sustainable development in Kigoma and beyond.
We appreciate the time and interest shown by @ActionaidTz and look forward to building a strong partnership that advances our shared vision for a just and sustainable future.
At YouLead Africa, we believe that meaningful change begins when people come together to learn, share experiences and co-create solutions.
Recently, our Partnerships and Fundraising Coordinator, @ReaganMwebaze0, reflected on his journey after participating in a Social Learning and Communities of Practice workshop hosted by the Danida Fellowship Centre at the TCDC – Tanzania Centre for Development Cooperation in Arusha.
The workshop brought together network leaders from across the region to explore how social learning approaches can transform the way organizations convene, collaborate and solve problems.
Since returning, Reagan has been experimenting with these approaches within our programs and internal engagements, creating more inclusive spaces where participants can share knowledge, influence discussions and learn from one another’s experiences.

@CAN_Tanzania is currently in Dodoma, collaborating with @vpo_tanzania in convening National Stakeholders Technical Workshop to kick-start the reviewing process of the National Climate Change Response Strategy (#NCCRS) 2021–2026.
#ClimateAction#JustTransition
ActionAid Tanzania (AATZ) proudly participated in the National Stakeholders Workshop for the review of the National Climate Change Response Strategy (NCCRS 2021–2026) convened by the Vice President’s Office in Dodoma.
The workshop contributes to aligning the new NCCRS with Tanzania’s National Development Vision 2050, the National Adaptation Plan (2025–2030), and the ongoing review of NDC 3.0.
AATZ engaged in the dialogue to ensure that national climate strategies remain people-centered, gender-responsive, and grounded in the lived realities of smallholder farmers, women, youth, and marginalized communities. The organization continues to advocate for stronger community accountability, agroecological transitions, and equitable climate financing within Tanzania’s policy frameworks.
Together, we move toward a resilient and just climate future.

On the 6th of November, 2025 H.E the Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania Dr. @JSimbachawene participated in the first day of the #COP30 Leaders Summit in Belém do Pará, engaging in discussions on climate action, sustainability, and international cooperation. 🌍🤝🇹🇿🇧🇷
@_AfricanUnion Chairperson H.E. @ymahmoudali emphasized Africa's commitment to climate action at the #COP30 Leaders Summit in Belém, Brazil. He highlighted Africa's potential in renewable energy, with 40% of global capacity, yet receives less than 12% of climate finance.
The COP30 @UNFCCC conference will take place from 10-21 November 2025 in Belém, Brazil. It will bring together world leaders, non-governmental organizations, and civil society to discuss priority actions to tackle climate change. To inspire change, @vpo_tanzania, together with its partners, will share, during different events and meetings, existing best-practice programs on climate adaptation and mitigation from commodity sectors around the world.
Our flagship report is out.
Only 2.8% of #ClimateFinance supports a #JustTransition. It is not good enough.
This report sets out how finance can actually protect jobs, livelihoods & communities for a just transition.
