maybe we could open our brains to the possibility that when ppl are critiquing a culture based on fitness (and by extension ability) they’re also talking about subscribing to survival of the fittest as a praxis and how that is in direct opposition to comprehensive liberation.

@count_luna @ChrisWillcoxSTL i think the use of fitness here is deliberately calling attention to its origin in social darwinism and raises the question of whether socialists should value a framing of health which implies a class of the 'unfit'. (are health, play, activity, etc. not conceptually sufficient?)
