"I’m not sure whether all the countries realize the gravity of the situation if there’s a conflict with Iran. People don’t understand, you know, this is not going to be the same as Iraq. This could be much, much, much worse."

Speaking at the US Institute of Peace in Washington DC, the then-Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan warned directly against a military conflict with Iran.

Key excerpts from his address:
• "...the Shia element in Islam is very cohesive. They have a much greater sense of martyrdom..."
• "The battle might be quite short...bombing airfields and so on... But the consequences after that... not many people fully understand it."
• "I would strongly urge that there should not be... another military situation... The last thing we want is another conflict on our borders."

This should help the world understand why Imran Khan is in jail today. He stands with the oppressed, stands for sovereignty, and leads the Movement for Justice in Pakistan.

پاکستان میں قانون کی حکمرانی اور اخلاقی اقدار کی تمام حدیں پار کی جا چکی ہیں۔ بانی چیئرمین عمران خان کی بہنوں کی نظر بندی میں مزید 30 روز کی توسیع کا فیصلہ محض ایک قانونی اقدام نہیں، بلکہ سیاسی انتقام اور فسطائیت کی بدترین مثال ہے۔

انصاف کے ساتھ یہ کیسا مذاق ہے کہ نیا ایم پی او (MPO) حکم نامہ 7 اکتوبر کو جاری کیا جاتا ہے، مگر اسے 26 اکتوبر کو جا کر پہلی بار عدالت کے سامنے لایا جاتا ہے۔ حد تو یہ ہے کہ 9 اور 12 اکتوبر کو ہونے والی سماعتوں کے دوران بھی اس حقیقت کو عدالت سے چھپا کر رکھا گیا۔

جب پہلا 3MPO آرڈر ہی گرفتاری کے بعد جاری کیا گیا تھا، تو یہ ثابت کرنے کے لیے کسی مزید ثبوت کی ضرورت نہیں رہتی کہ یہ پوری کارروائی شروع ہی سے غیر قانونی اور بدنیتی پر مبنی تھی۔

جس ملک میں سیاسی رقابت کا بدلہ لینے کے لیے خواتین اور پورے خاندان کو پابندِ سلاسل کر دیا جائے، وہاں آئین اور قانون کی بات کرنا بے معنی ہو جاتا ہے۔ جعلی فارم 47 کے ذریعے مسلط ہونے والے حکمران اور ان کے سرپرست اپنے خوف اور ناکامی کو چھپانے کے لیے اخلاقی گراوٹ کی آخری حدوں کو چھو رہے ہیں۔

یاد رکھیں تاریخ کا سب سے بڑا سبق یہی ہے کہ جب ظلم اور جبر حد سے بڑھتا ہے تو مٹ جاتا ہے۔ عمران خان اور ان کے خاندان کو انتقام کا نشانہ بنا کر عوام کی آواز کو نہیں دبایا جا سکتا، اور قانون کو کھلونا بنانے والوں کو ایک دن تاریخ کے سیاہ صفحات میں ہی جگہ ملے گی۔

🇵🇰 Imran Khan’s 3 sisters have already spent OVER A MONTH behind bars, and Pakistan just found a way to keep them there until at least November 26.

Punjab’s government has EXTENDED the detention of Aleema Khan, Uzma Khan and Noreen Niazi by ANOTHER 30 days, under a public order law normally aimed at people seen as threats to public peace.

Their family asked a court to free them, but the judge threw the case out over a paperwork issue.

Meanwhile, a terrorism court has pushed back its verdict against Aleema yet again, to November 26, the same day her detention ends.

Whether that timing is a coincidence is anyone’s guess, but there are fears Aleema could be arrested again in the terrorism case as soon as her detention ends.

“توشہ خانہ 2 کا جھوٹا کیس بھی مکمل طور پر زمین بوس ہو چکا ہے کیونکہ یہ کیس جس شخص کے بیان کی بنیاد پر کھڑا کیا گیا تھا وہ گواہ ہی عدالت میں جھوٹا ثابت ہو چکا ہے۔ اس کیس کو مزید کھینچنے کا جواز نہیں بنتا کیونکہ پراسیکیوشن کی جانب سے پیش کیے گئے گواہ بریگیڈیئر احمد اور کرنل ریحان نے بھی یہ بیان دیا ہے کہ توشہ خانہ سے لیے گئے تحفوں کے کاغذات مکمل تھے۔ لیکن تمام ثبوتوں اور سرکاری گواہوں کے جھوٹے ثابت ہونے کے باوجود کیس کی سماعت جاری ہے۔ اگر سیاسی انتقام ہی مقصد نہ ہو تو اس جھوٹے کیس میں بھی میری اور بشرٰی بیگم کی بریت اسی ہفتے ہو جانی چاہیئے۔ جمعرات کو القادر کیس کی بھی بالآخر تاریخ دے دی گئی ہے۔ مجھے اب بھی امید ہے کہ عدالت میرٹ اور قانون کو سامنے رکھتے ہوئے ان مقدمات میں انصاف دے گی اور اس جھوٹے کیس میں رہائی ہو جائے گی۔

محسن نقوی نے کرکٹ اور عاصم منیر نے پاکستان کا ایک جیسا حال کر دیا ہے۔ پاکستان میں ہر ادارہ اس وقت تباہی کا شکار ہے۔ کرکٹ واحد کھیل ہے جو پوری قوم شوق سے دیکھتی ہے۔ کرکٹ کو بھی جب سے منظور نظر محسن نقوی کے حوالے کیا گیا ہے تباہی ہی تباہی ہے۔ پاکستانی ٹیم نے 2021 میں بھارت کو 10 وکٹوں سے شکست دی تھی اور تب ایک باعتماد ٹیم تھی-

ان کے پاس میچ جیتنے کا ایک واحد طریقہ یہ ہے کہ عاصم منیر اور محسن نقوی کو اوپننگ بیٹسمین کے طور پر بھیجا جائے اور سکندر سلطان راجہ، قاضی فائز عیسٰی کو امپائرنگ دی جائے اور ڈوگر کو تھرڈ امپائر بنا دیا جائے کیونکہ موجودہ سیٹ اپ کو جیتنے کا یہی ایک طریقہ معلوم ہے

عاصم منیر کو سوچنا چاہئے کہ اپنے ناجائز اقتدار کو طول دینے کے لیے اس نے کیا کچھ کیا ہے:

سب سے پہلے جمہوریت ختم کی- 9 مئی کا فالس فلیگ کر کے ملک کی سب سے بڑی سیاسی جماعت کو کچلا گیا، پھر 8 فروری کو انتخابات میں عوام نے جو مجھے دو تہائی اکثریت دی اسے چھین کر اقتدار ان چوروں کے حوالے کر دیا گیا جنھوں نے عوام کا پیسہ لوٹنے کے سوا کوئی دوسرا کام نہیں کیا۔ باوجود ڈکٹیٹرشپ کے مشرف کو اگر کوئی عوامی حمایت حاصل تھی تو اس کی دو وجوہات تھیں: ایک، اس نے میڈیا کو آزاد کیا تھا۔ دو، وہ ملک کے دو کرپٹ ترین خاندانوں یعنی شریف و زرداری خاندان کا احتساب کر رہا تھا۔ اب اسی سزا یافتہ کرپٹ مافیا کو دوبارہ ملک پر مسلط کر کے ملک کو کئی دہائیوں پیچھے دھکیل دیا گیا ہے۔

دوسرا، چھبیسویں ترمیم کے ذریعے عدلیہ کی خودمختاری سلب کر کے اسے ایک سرکاری ادارے میں تبدیل کر دیا گیا ہے۔ اس کے باوجود وہ ججز قابل تحسین ہیں جو آج بھی قانون کی حکمرانی اور آئین کی بالادستی کے ساتھ کھڑے ہیں۔ یہ ججز پوری قوم کے ہیروز ہیں اور پوری قوم ان کے پیچھے کھڑی ہے جنھوں نے ان کٹھن ترین حالات میں بھی حق کا علم اٹھایا ہے۔ دوسری جانب، وہ ججز جو عاصم لأ کے سامنے جھکے ہوئے ہیں، انھیں نہ تو تاریخ اور نہ ہی یہ قوم کبھی معاف کرے گی۔

تیسرا ملک میں ظلم کا بازار گرم کیا گیا، اخلاقی نظام کو مکمل طور پر تباہ کیا گیا اور انسانی حقوق کی بدترین پامالیاں کی گئیں- لوگوں کو جیلوں میں ڈالا گیا اور ملٹری ٹرائل کر کے غیرقانونی سزائیں دی گئیں، اور یہ سلسلہ بنا کسی احتساب کے خوف کے جاری ہے۔

اپنی جماعت بالخصوص، علی امین ، بیرسٹر سیف اور بیرسٹر گوہر، کو پیغام دینا چاہتا ہوں کہ اسٹیبلشمنٹ کے ساتھ رابطہ مکمل طور پر منقطع کر دیں۔ اسٹیبلشمنٹ نے اگر کوئی بات کرنی ہے تو اڈیالہ جیل آ کر مجھ سے کریں۔ آپ ان سے جتنی مذاکرات کی کوشش کرتے ہیں، وہ اتنا ہی ظلم و ستم کی شدت بڑھا کر ہماری جماعت کو کچلنے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں۔

کس قدر غیر انسانی عمل ہے کہ گوجرانوالہ میں دو سال سے بےگناہ قید قاسم کھوکھر کا بروقت علاج نہیں کروایا گیا جس سے اس کی جیل میں ہی موت واقع ہو گئی۔ اس سے پہلے بھی کئی ورکرز جیل سے آ کر فوت ہو چکے ہیں۔۔۔ میں ان کے خاندانوں سے اظہار تعزیت کرتا ہوں۔

27 ستمبر کے پشاور جلسے میں پوری قوم شرکت کرے۔یہ جلسہ قانون کی بالادستی، آزاد میڈیا ، خودمختار عدلیہ اور جمہوریت کی بحالی کے لیے ہے اس لیے پوری قوم کو یک زبان ہو کر نکلنا ہو گا۔ علی امین گنڈا پور اس جلسے کے انتظامات کریں اور جنید اکبر ان کا ساتھ دیں۔ پوری پارٹی اور ورکرز اس جلسے کو تاریخی بنانے کے لیے محنت کریں”

“Prior to the elections, although an atmosphere of fear prevailed, I had predicted that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf would achieve a clean sweep, and that is exactly what happened. Today I am making another prediction: the injustice, oppression, fascism, lawlessness, and economic devastation in our country are propelling Pakistan rapidly towards a situation like the one seen in Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.

I instruct all PTI parliamentarians and party officials: now is the time to perform as the genuine opposition. We sought legal remedies against every injustice, including the theft of our mandate, but did not get justice; therefore, now is the time to stand firmly in opposition. I have been offered deals time and again, told either to leave the country or remain silent, and in return my cases would be withdrawn. Yet from the very first day, my position has been that I will only emerge from these cases through the courts, never as the result of any deal. This is why 300 fabricated cases have been filed against me. Any other person could not have withstood such persecution, but I know that I am innocent and that I stand on the side of truth.

Even the false Toshakhana case has now completely collapsed. Witnesses presented by the prosecution, Brigadier Ahmad and Colonel Rehan, themselves admitted that the Toshakhana gifts were not taken to my residence but deposited in the Toshakhana, and all documentation is complete.

Therefore, acquittal in this case should be granted in a single day, and in particular, bail for Bushra Begum should be approved, as she is a woman and is facing nothing but baseless allegations of aiding and abetment.

I am fully aware that the so-called courts under the 26th Amendment deliver dictated verdicts, not according to the law but according to Asim Law. The sequence has already been planned: first, conviction will be announced in the second Toshakhana case, and only then will bail in the Al-Qadir Trust case be approved. This is the script, and the judiciary is currently functioning not on the basis of law, but according to this script.

“We have knocked on every door, but no one has listened. I had asked for dialogue only once, and that too was conditional upon commissions to investigate the events of November 26th (2024) and May 9th (2023) being formed. It was Asim Munir who ordered the shooting of unarmed civilians on November 26th. I reiterate there is no longer any room for dialogue because this group has completely hijacked the entire system.

I have instructed Barrister Gohar, Salman Akram Raja, Ali Amin Gandapur, and Junaid Akbar to ensure the protest movement runs with full force. The objective of this movement must be the restoration of justice, the supremacy of law, and the protection of the Constitution. If we fail to raise our voices in the streets, this group of oppressors will gradually finish off our parliamentary party as well. I am standing firm; all of you must also stand firm.

Eighty percent of the people of Pakistan stand with me and we are entitled to fight for our rights. I am aware that 90% of the electoral fraud took place between polling and the compilation of results. I campaigned for the implementation of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) for two years. If EVMs had been used on February 8th (2024), the game would have ended there and then. I still say today: if transparent elections are desired, EVMs must be introduced, and rigging will end once and for all.”
