One crucial use case of @adaanist we realized is that it’s not just students who can use it to learn. Parents, teachers, and schools can also use Adaanist to provide high-quality education to students.

Let’s say you are a parent and you want to help your child learn Algebra or Geometry, and you want to be involved in the learning process. You can instruct your child to complete a couple of Algebra lessons from Adaanist and then take a practice quiz to master these concepts, while you stay in the loop.

As a parent, your benefit is that you don’t have to hire an expensive tutor or send your child to an expensive coaching center unless you want to. It would be a fulfilling experience for both the parent and the child.

On the flip side, teachers, like private tutors, can use the materials and lessons while teaching students.

So, we are building Adaanist not only for students but also, in the long term, for parents, teachers, and schools to deliver high-quality education at zero cost.

We trained an AI agent to automate data entry at @adaanist.

Just 5 weeks ago, we were planning to hire at least 10 individuals to enter data into our website.

Now, we are no longer hiring for data entry - we are training AI agents to complete these mundane, repetitive tasks for us.

In the past 1.5 months, we have created over 450 lessons for our students. Entering all those lessons into our Content Management System (CMS) used to take our team hours.

Now, we mostly let AI agents do it for us while we stay in the loop.

AI agents are not perfect - they hallucinate and make mistakes.

So after the agent does its thing, we proofread, then design and add animations to provide a high-quality learning experience for our students.

This is one of our ways of providing world-class education, entirely free, from @adaanist.

We are not replacing humans with AI.

Instead, we are empowering our human team to do what it does best: being super creative and innovative.

We hire humans to be human.

I am hiring an "Executive/Personal Assistant".

Remote Job + Flexible Hours (Your performance will be measured based on results/outcomes, not on how many hours you are spending at the job.)

Responsibilities + Required Skills:
No formal educational qualifications required. I don't care about your degree or CGPA.

1. You have to be very good in English writing, reading, and speaking.
You have to sometimes take some of my meetings and calls online when I am unavailable and talk to native English speakers. So, being able to speak clearly and fluently in English is a must.

2. You must be tech-savvy. You have to be open to learning new technologies, including some of the softwares and AI tools that I use.

I will personally give you some tutorials on my workflow. But you have to be willing to learn some completely new stuff pretty quickly.

I will disclose my tech stack after your selection.

Your ability to unlearn and relearn will be greatly valued.

We use an AI that enters all the data into our websites/platforms with very little human intervention. However, AI still hallucinates and makes error in some instances.

Your task will be to review, proofread, and then publish our content after our AI has entered data.

Your primary task is to free up my time as much as possible so that I can focus on other things.

Selection Process:
1. I will directly interview you.

2. After your interview, you will be given a set of tasks and assignments across 2-3 weeks.

Throughout this process, I will look for whether you have the mindset to learn new things and new ways of doing things even in a different and challenging environment.

3. After your selection, you have to go through 2 months of probationary period, which will be paid.

1. You have to give me notice 6 months before leaving the job.

2. You won't be hired if you are not trustworthy and cannot remain discreet. You will have to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before starting in your role.

In every airport, there are so many stores. My dad works at one of these stores at New York's JFK Airport as a salesperson for the last 2 years. He barely makes enough to pay the rent to live in a basement and put food on the table for my mom and younger brother. I don't exactly come from a financially privileged background.

After August 5, 2024, I had to hide in Bangladesh for 3 months. Then, I came to the US on November 4, 2024. I studied for 3 years at IBA DU as a BBA student but couldn’t complete my degree in the final year due to ongoing threats to my life from various entities in Bangladesh.

After I came here, I had to immediately start working. My dad is 55 years old, and my mom is 52. I have seen my dad standing for hours at the store in the airport to earn just the minimum wage in the US. So I had to take the financial responsibility for my family.

Every month, I financially contribute to my family so that our small 4-member family can survive. Due to my work, I don't get to live with my parents anymore.

I am not a US citizen. I have held a US Green Card since 2023. That’s why I was able to come to the US.

I don’t exactly like taking pictures of myself. But I love this picture. This is the picture I took with my mom the day I got admitted to IBA DU, in front of our IBA building.

So, from the best school and the best business school to one of the best universities in the world - we covered all of it. People only believe in great endings; we believe in the entire journey.

Columbia is a test-optional university. Since I didn’t have the circumstances to sit for the SAT, I didn’t have to take it. However, I studied in Bangla medium schools (Government Laboratory High School and Dhaka College). That’s why I had to take the IELTS.

Columbia is a very expensive school. But Columbia generously offered me financial aid that would cover my entire tuition fee. I still have to cover my living expenses.
I will gradually share what I have been doing in the US since November 2024 just to survive.

I have been fortunate enough that an American - whom I didn’t personally know before (and who has nothing to do with Bangladesh) - was gracious enough to make a bet on me and helped me survive. While my friends abandoned me and jumped into canceling me by forming mobs on social media, this American, his family, and friends empowered me.

Even though America welcomed me with open arms, I don’t intend to take US citizenship.

I will tell my story of what I’m doing and building in the US some other time. Till then, please keep me in your prayers. I won’t let you down.
