“There is no God but God, Muhammad is his messenger,” the paramedic is heard saying. He asks God for forgiveness and says he knows he is going to die.
“Forgive me, mother. This is the path I chose — to help people,” he said. “Allahu akbar,” God is great, he says.
Huge thanks to everyone who helped us run our second year of mock IMT interviews. Experienced clinicians and educators supporting those looking to progress in their careers!

#HospitalatHome is easier for our patients, staff & organisations to understand & unites this model across the UK nations

Grim, but alas unsurprising.
Patient need in deprived areas is greater, but #generalpractice in the poorest areas of England is under-funded and under-doctored relative to the richest areas. Little wonder that access is harder, and people turn elsewhere

@HarryTtweets Let me tell you a story from when a dear friend was an F1 in Care of the Elderly.
Mr Smith was 94, and his care line called 999 after he tripped over he dropped his cup of tea, and overbalanced trying to mop it up.
The ambulance crew found his BP was 175/90 and LBBB (1/?)
The situation in the UK is deeply concerning. Health is declining and health inequalities are widening. This is not the case with other European countries. The UK's rankings have gone down since 2014. What a tragic waste of lives @ucl@bmj_latest
I was a sub postmaster during medical school and FY. We loved much of it, but there was a terribly inhumane side to the business which #MrBatesvsPostOffice has shown well.
There are elements of the Post Office then that I see in the NHS today, good and bad.
Huge thanks to everyone who took part in our first ever IMT mock interviews.
Good luck to everyone who has the real thing coming up soon! 🤞

A released Palestinian prisoner says in Arabic that Israel held them in the cold w/o electricity, "sprayed us w/ pepper spray" & "left us to die."
She never mentioned Hamas or a word like it. Yet @BBC translated to: "No one helped us. Only Hamas cared...We love them very much."
Most of the medical staff and patients had left Al Shifa hospital, as the Israeli occupation army ordered everyone to evacuate the hospital. Many patients can not leave the hospital as they are in the ICU beds or the baby incubators.
I along with 5 other doctors, will stay at Alshifa hospital with 120 patients (as patients can not leave due to their health conditions). We call the @ICRC@ICRC_ilot@WHO to take action to protect the medical staff and patients at Al Shifa hospital.

Having got cardiology advice to give DAPT to two older patients with moderate or severe frailty this week, with minor trop roses in the context of infection, this graphic is a good reminder to decision making in T2MI. https://t.co/xNWbIdKl62
