Unreal numbers 👀⚡️
"JPMorgan estimates that, had Germany not phased out nuclear power, the country would have generated 50% less electricity from fossil fuels and 84% less electricity from natural gas in 2024. Electricity prices in Germany would have been around 25% lower, and the country would have imported half as much electricity.."
15% of the deaths are in Africa.
63% of those deaths are because we are breathing smoke from burning dirty biomass. I don't see the UN or WHO holding yearly conferences to implement clean cooking but they are so concerned about the climate- neocolonialism! They force solar and wind down our throats every opportunity they get when we have abundant/plentiful clean nat gas. Hell, even coal is cleaner than burning cow 🐄 💩 and crop residue!
Fossil Fuels for Africa.
🚨New preprint looked at 82 peer-reviewed studies on climate change & hurricanes (@JessicaWeinkle et al)
11% had NGO funding
Those studies were ~9x more likely to find " a positive association between climate change and geophysical characteristics of hurricanes"

IEA is used to push cow poop, deforestation of our forests for charcoal and firewood and crop residue to energy poor Africans who already get almost 90% of their energy from biomass. They want us to go back to 100% biomass. Whatever industrialization that's happening in Africa should end! No more motorcycles or small machines for us.. while the US, China and India burn more and more Fossil Fuels..
Folks, it's for the climate!
Given these data I don’t think “ambulance chasers” is out of line for describing the climate advocates promoting false narratives and misinformation about what climate science/data say about the LA fires
MIT climate scientist (and former IPCC lead author) Dr. Richard Lindzen:
"Temperature's changing, climate is changing, man plays some role. There's not much disagreement.
With the predictions of disaster that are not connected clearly to warming or to our activities or to anything else, and leaving people with the thought that if the first part is true, the second part must be true.
And this is certainly not the case. And then to add insult to injury, to propose policies that would have nothing to do with any of it, but involved trillions of dollars and harm to many people, is I think crossing the line."

I wonder how much tax revenue solar & wind contribute, is it as much as their subsidies?
@AlexEpstein NY policies - restricting pipelines, preventing production of nat gas in NY, preventing citizens from using their mineral rights - have required importing energy at a higher cost and greater environmental impact. NY policies have done serious damage to people and the environment.
@JohnHCrumpler @BullseyeTexas Is the scheme poor, has the Def figured it out, is the QB not making necessary adjustments, is the C not making the right calls, are players just not executing correctly? It's likely a combination, but it's just not obvious to me how to pinpoint each factor - it just looks bad
The UN wants to control climate information so you only hear facts that "boost support for urgent climate action"
That's just blatant activism
Imagine a similar initiative for information integrity on migration
Depending on your viewpoint, at least one of these objectives is obvious activism:
○ "Information integrity on migration" to boost support for unlimited immigration
○ "Information integrity on migration" to boost support for closed borders
