The World Cup begins on Sunday and the attention of the soccer world will be on the tournament.

But football isn't only about the greatest players competing on the biggest stage.

The sport transcends the elite level and is really the people's game. https://t.co/h32kOMbvRY

@RosenZone Started with Instinct, it was like a gateway to grokbot, wanted more flexibility and more automations, been in it for a couple weeks, it awesome

@PRButcher 👀

I think there's a big wave coming in the meat industry, akin to the craft coffee wave.

There is no premium meat brand in America. Most meat is still sold in plastic, sweating away on a styrofoam tray.

More thoughts below and 3 ways I'd do it:

@roblabonne @roblabonne - High quality premium beef and pork @PRButcher - highly recommend!!

[Adam Hemberger @AdamHemberger]

@jwmares This is @PRButcher. All raised and harvested in the US.

ButcherBox does not get its meat from the US, we don’t know what those animals are given or how they are tested.

🚀🍟 Great team and product, well deserved!

Jesse & Ben's just closed a $10M Series A led by Greycroft 🍟

Two restaurant operators (@jesse_konig + Ben Johnson) put their first bag on shelves in June 2024.

Last year they grew 1,100% and they're tracking another 300-400% this year!

Now the #1 frozen potato brand at multiple retailers... outselling the legacy giants AND private label.

The team is LOADED (like their fries): @ericthomasryan (Method, Olly) joining the board. Audrey Burger (formerly Primal Kitchen) joined as Founding President.

I think they've done a lot right here. Yes, they're doing the whole tallow thing, and yes the ingredients are clean and simple. But what I love about them is they're focused on making a delicious, restaurant-quality french fry first. That, right there, builds a timeless brand.

Plus they're in one of my favorite CPG categories: Frozen.

I needed to hear this today 🙏😊

@Nchap222 @shawngorham Hard money works well for all involved, but scaling is tough, sometimes you have to raise capital faster than deals move. They appear quick and need to fund faster. We’ve been hunting for a warehouse line, but most want big balance sheets. Classic real estate chicken-and-egg.

When someone proposes very complex deal terms, I assume that person is inexperienced or trying to screw me.

Very grateful for my friend @TAG_SLC.

No one has helped me advance my career more than Jordan. Every time I ask for an inch of help he gives me a mile.

Haven’t met a better person in the industry and lucky to work with him.
