(1/2) Police investigating the attempted theft of a dog on 5 Sept in London Fields near Martello St, E8, have arrested a man. The suspect followed the dog's owner before attempting to scoop up the dog in a large carrier bag. He was unsuccessful and walked away from the location

@hackneygazette @mayorofhackney @HackneyPolice a known criminal/dealer has been following dog owners and attempted to steal at least 1 dog. Local police are refusing to do anything unless the dog is physically taken. Attempted theft means nothing to the police it.
