By my calculations, I started working on this project around 2018. I cannot thank the community enough and for everyone who has heard my Ank5 presentation over the years, it's finally a complete story with @NatureComms!!
Jumped into the Chlamydia world last week at #CBRS2023. Omaha was a great selection for science and exploring. Excited for my move into the @IsabelleDerre lab and the Chlamydia world!!
I’m the Tropmed2022 Young Investigator!! It is an honor to win this award. I would not be here without the support of my lab. Receiving independent acknowledgment is always wonderfully validating and supportive through the tough days. #postdoc@TropicalmedMDPI@CarlyonLab
#TropicalmedMDPI We are pleased to announce that the winner of the TropicalMed 2022 Young Investigator Award is Dr. Haley Adcox @AdcoxHe

It’s been a good month for the lab! Collaborative work published in IAI on OtDUB, an O. tsutsugamushi deubiquitinase and an mBio manuscript led by Curtis Read redefining the ApV as a host cell MVB. One of his IFAs was selected as the featured image!! @CarlyonLab
Had a lovely experience visiting and presenting at the University of Iowa. @UIMolecPhysBio gave a great discussion section. Thank you again @MaryWeb15082904 for hosting me! 🤗
Conquered my first international conference! It was wonderful meeting so many amazing investigators and hearing great science. Au revoir Lausanne! #ESSCAR2022@CarlyonLab
What happens to an obligate intracellular bacterium when it exits its host cell? Our new paper shows how Orientia tsutsugamushi differentiates into a distinct extracellular form. Explainer thread below. https://t.co/xzYvlViIby
#whatimreading A major challenge in SARS-CoV-2 testing: Infectiousness. @DrMattBinnicker discusses the methods available, shortcomings in correlating with infectiousness, and why we're stuck in Goldilocks fairy tale, except none of them fit "just right". https://t.co/Vj3jnJFhIM
