A new blog post with a deep dive on Apache Pulsar load balancing: https://t.co/0NGl8ZfJQQ. If you want to know some of the magic of how Pulsar works, here is where to learn it 😀
Really proud of this launch from the StreamNative team and really excited for Pulsar community to get their hands on it! Producing with Kafka and consuming with Pulsar (or vice versa!) feels pretty magical 😁

📣 Announcing the availability of StreamNative Cloud for KafkaⓇ! Combine the reach of the #Kafka ecosystem with the flexibility and power of StreamNative’s offering, powered by @apache_pulsar Pulsar. Learn more and sign up for the beta today! https://t.co/k12R8xMLOr
I’m looking for Platform Engineers/SREs from those who want to start that journey as Jrs and up to Sr. Engineering Managers, willing to work in Denmark for @LEGO_Group
You will be working out API and Event Streaming platforms @kong and @apache_pulsar !
@riferrei@morsapaes Totally agree! The best part of being back to in-person events is getting to finally meet all the people I have met online in the last few years 😃
@stsffap@ApacheFlink@apache_pulsar@yihy8023@syhily 🎉Super excited to see this land and making it much easier for Flink users to get started with Pulsar. I am really excited for continued growth and integration between Flink + Pulsar
@dunnry Apache Pulsar has a lot offer here, that was one of the main reasons I adopted it previously.
If you ever have questions about Apache Pulsar, feel free to ping me :)
The @apache_pulsar community held 2 global @PulsarSummit events and grew the number of contributors by 2x in 2020. Find other milestones for StreamNative and the @apache_pulsar community in our 2020 year in review. https://t.co/6rOAoFmgVp
Our team has spent the last year learning and building with the best minds in DevRel and community. Thanks to you, we've reached our next milestone: a seed round led by @a16z!
We're so excited to share this news and tell you about what comes next 🚀 https://t.co/wUAQOnZcsT
@cbornet_@streamnativeio@apache_pulsar Something along those lines yes :)
But we will also go beyond that, there exists a lot of flexibility in the storage tier which we hope to be able to give a better picture of.
@BreevoortM@streamnativeio@apache_pulsar@kesquetech@RabbitMQ@apachekafka All of this is use case dependent, but a more ideal disk config for this machine might be 2x SSD both as journal directories, then additional slower EBS for ledgers. That gives you high throughput and expandable storage, whereas with Kafka you are limited to storage size of SSDs
@BreevoortM@streamnativeio@apache_pulsar@kesquetech@RabbitMQ@apachekafka The issue is that by using one disk for journal and one for ledger, only half the write IO can be utilized for the main write path, hence ~1/2 the throughput. Bookkeeper is best with smaller super-fast journal and slower cost-effective long-term ledger storage.
Excited to announce StreamNative Cloud - a fully managed @apache_pulsar service in the public cloud. Spin up a Pulsar cluster in minutes by signing up our Beta Access program! https://t.co/BGqRx7sjIm
