Everyone wants to be healthy but only a few make it happen. Even fewer keep it going.
Most of the time, it is due to a combination of unrealistic expectation, all or nothing mindset, wanting instant results and/or feeling overwhelmed and confused.

Tak habis lagi ke pergaduhan oat dengan nasi? I eat oat for breakfast almost everyday, i eat nasi for lunch and/or dinner everyday. Oat is not the problem, rice is not the problem. What you eat with them or what you don’t eat (veges and fruits) is the problem
During this holiday season, let’s stop telling people what they should/should not do.
Some prefer to stick rigidly to their routine and some want to relax. There’s no right or wrong.
Whatever you choose to do, just make sure that it aligns with YOUR goals, health and values.

Restrictive and rigid diets tend to backfire because the more you tell yourself you cannot have a food, the more you want it.
People tend to increase the value of objects or options that are eliminated from their choice set.

Client: I feel like the portions on the plan is a lot but it makes me super full till bedtime. Usually if I am working late, I will have supper. These 2 days I am too full to even think of eating anything at midnight.
It’s easy to be consistent with nutrition and exercise when life is “perfect”. The true test is when there are obstacles and distractions (AKA when life happens).
Stop waiting for life to be “perfect”. Start learning the necessary skills needed to overcome these barriers!
