Politicians: Public transport is important but Malaysians prefer to drive.

Look, if Malaysians have to panjat divider, jalan dekat tepi jalan with no sidewalk, walk 40 minutes to reach the LRT station actually in front of your house but is across the highway/behind a wall, wait for a bus that may or may not come, then OF COURSE they prefer to drive.

Don't put the blame on us. We don't love to drive. Many young Malaysians in fact refuse to own cars.

Yes, changing the infrastructure takes time and money. But let's recognise it's the current infrastructure that makes it hard for Malaysians to take public transport. Not that we don't like taking public transport or PREFER to drive.

@askrapidkl I boarded bus T402, bus number VAE7157 this morning. I tap in as usual but when I try to tap out, the system is out of service and I have no choice to get down the bus without tapping. RM3 has been deducted from my Touch n Go. How do I get back my money?
