The people of Iran are friends of America. Before 1979, we worked together to ensure stability in the Middle East. But the current regime has only ever sought chaos and terror. It's time to make a deal with the Iranian people to restore those ties and return peace to the region.

Iran and Oman share a long history of pragmatic relations based on mutual respect, including cooperation to protect national sovereignty during the Dhofar Rebellion. That legacy has been distorted by the policies of the Islamic Republic. While Oman has consistently sought regional calm, the regime occupying Tehran has used diplomatic space to delay accountability while continuing repression at home and destabilization abroad.

Our Omani friends must know that a future, free Iran will restore this historic relationship on the basis of trust, stability, and genuine partnership—reflecting the will of the Iranian people.

لدى إيران وسلطنة عُمان تاريخًا مشتركاً طويلًا من العلاقات البراغماتية القائمة على الاحترام المتبادل، بما في ذلك التعاون من أجل حماية السيادة الوطنية، كما حصل خلال تمرد ظفار. إلا أن هذا الإرث قد شوّه بسبب سياسات الجمهورية الإسلامية. ففي حين دأبت عُمان باستمرار، على السعي إلى تهدئة إقليمية، استخدم النظام القابع في طهران الحيّز الدبلوماسي لتأجيل المساءلة، في الوقت الذي يواصل فيه القمع في الداخل وزعزعة الاستقرار في الخارج.

ويجب أن يدرك أصدقاؤنا العُمانيون أن إيران المستقبل، إيران الحرة، ستعيد إحياء هذه العلاقة التاريخية على أساس الثقة والاستقرار والشراكة الحقيقية—بما يعكس إرادة الشعب الإيراني.

To my brave compatriots in Iran,

Our magnificent national revolution, the Lion and Sun Revolution, is an unparalleled epic of solidarity, empathy, and national unity. Contrary to the efforts of the Islamic Republic and its accomplices to sow division and derail our movement, you have remained vigilant and patriotic, and with one voice, throughout Iran, you have shouted that you are one great, united nation under one flag. You have shown that regardless of which city or province we come from, which dialect or language we speak, what religion or beliefs we have, or do not have, we are all Iranian and determined to reclaim our beloved homeland.

You have courageously taken to the streets across Iran—let me emphasize: across all of Iran—under a hail of bullets, declaring what you do not want and crying out for what you do want.

Your bravery has shaken the foundations of this occupying regime. Your voice has awakened the world. Your sacrifice and devotion will not be in vain. Iran will be free.

And to all those who wish to join us on this path, I say: hear the voice of Iran’s great and united nation. The Lion and Sun Revolution welcomes all who accept these four principles: preserving Iran’s territorial integrity; individual freedoms and the equality of all citizens before the law; a secular democracy based on the separation of religion and state; and the people’s right to freely choose their form of government.

Once more, I honor with respect, sorrow, and deep anger the everlasting memory of our brave fallen women and men who gave their lives for our homeland. Let their loved ones be assured that the prosecution and punishment of those who ordered and carried out this massacre, and the realization of justice, are certain.

Today, as we stand more united than ever and closer to freedom and democracy, I pledge to safeguard your trust and our unity with all I have. Together, we will reclaim and rebuild Iran.

Iranians abroad and freedom-loving people around the world,

February 14 is the Global Day of Action in solidarity with Iran’s Lion-and-Sun Revolution, a day to take to the streets and compel the international community to take urgent, practical steps in support of the Iranian people.

Our six demands are clear:

1. Dismantle the regime’s machinery of repression and protect the people of Iran
2. Cut off the regime’s financial lifelines in full
3. Ensure free internet and communications for the people of Iran
4. Expel the regime’s "diplomats" and prosecute its criminals
5. Immediate release of all political prisoners
6. Prepare to recognize a legitimate transitional government to lead Iran toward democracy

Munich, Los Angeles, and Toronto are the main gathering points. If you cannot travel, join protests in your own city and be the voice of Iran.

The Islamic Republic’s occupying rule has tried to break our nation’s will through massacre and brutal violence. It has failed. These invading terrorists, alien to Iran, have slaughtered tens of thousands of brave Iranians and cut off the internet to hide their crimes. Yet the people of Iran still stand before bullets, raising the cry of freedom and love of country. The era of fear is over. The era of freedom is near. Iranians have risen.

To those of you who believe in Iran’s freedom: on Saturday, February 14, rise in solidarity with the people of Iran. Your solidarity matters. When we stand united, governments are compelled to listen. History will remember those who stood with the Iranian people.

از تصمیم اتحادیه اروپا برای تعیین سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی به عنوان یک سازمان تروریستی استقبال می‌کنم. این گام مهم به رژیم جنایتکار جمهوری اسلامی این پیام را می‌فرستد که هیچ مشروعیتی در جهان ندارد.

I welcome the EU’s decision to designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corp (IRGC) as a terrorist organization. This important step sends a message to the criminal regime that it has no global legitimacy. We now need further concrete action to protect the Iranian people and to support a legitimate transitional government leading Iran to democracy.

I was pleased to meet with @MAStrackZi, the Chair of the European Parliament’s Defense and Security Committee to discuss the revolution in Iran. Her support for the Iranian people and her recognition of the malign role of the current regime is deeply appreciated.

We discussed the change a liberated Iran would bring to Europe:

Instead of causing massive migration though its proxy wars, a free Iran would stabilize the region and allow refugees to return home.

Instead of taking Europeans hostage and plotting terror in Europe, a free Iran would become a true partner for commerce and trade.

Instead of supplying drones to murder innocent civilians, a free Iran would be a supplier of oil and gas to Europe.

I reiterated that if Europe and European nations enact the six policies we have announced and do more than stand but act urgently in support of the brave people of Iran, that day will be soon.

خرسندم که با رئیس کمیته دفاع و امنیت پارلمان اروپا، «ماری-اگنس اشتراک-زیمرمان»، پیرامون انقلاب ملی ایران دیدار و گفتگو کردم. حمایت او از ملت ایران و درک و تشخیص نقش مخرب رژیم کنونی قابل تقدیر است.

ما درباره‌ی تغییری که یک ایران آزاد می‌تواند برای اروپا به همراه داشته باشد صحبت کردیم: به‌جای ایجاد موج‌های گسترده مهاجرت از طریق جنگ‌های نیابتی، یک ایران آزاد موجب ثبات در منطقه خواهد شد و امکان بازگشت  پناهجویان به خانه‌هایشان فراهم خواهد شد. به‌جای گروگان‌گیری شهروندان اروپایی و طراحی اقدامات تروریستی در اروپا، یک ایران آزاد به شریکی واقعی برای تجارت و بازرگانی تبدیل خواهد شد. به‌جای تامین پهپاد برای قتل غیرنظامیان بی‌گناه، یک ایران آزاد تامین‌کننده‌ی نفت و گاز برای اروپا خواهد بود.

من بار دیگر تاکید کردم که اگر اروپا و کشورهای اروپایی شش سیاستی را که ما اعلام کرده‌ایم اجرا کنند و فراتر از حمایت کلامی و صرفا اعلام ایستادگی در کنار مردم، با فوریت برای حمایت عملی از مردم شجاع ایران اقدام کنند، آن روز بسیار نزدیک‌تر خواهد بود.
