I get it! If I allowed a “no” to determine my worth, I would be messed up today. Even though the “no’s” hurt, I really did have more “yes’s”.

REMINDER

A “no” doesn’t determine your worth.

Rejection, as hard as it can be (believe me I know) is really a win as rejection from the person who isn’t a right fit is just getting you one step closer to the person who is.

Know your value and know that someone will see it.

My main parenting advice works for adults too which is that when someone has a tantrum then eventually collects themself enough to rejoin the group, you really don't need to embarrass them about it? You can just be cool and say "hey glad you're here"
