@astridwilde1@JasonrShuman Same here. I’ve bought good data for as low as 5$ per hour (UMI) and some terrible data for 70$. Not paying more than 15$ anymore.
The April 2026 issue of Science #Robotics is out!
This month's cover highlights large behavior models that can outperform single-task policies at complex manipulation tasks like installing a bike rotor. Learn about this research and more: https://t.co/89AzyDYh0O
@vkhosla@rhodaai It will be interesting to see how unit economics work out for these systems. System integrators are already bled dry, I guess picking and choosing applications on which subtask to the models will be an interesting problem.
@adam_patni@chris_j_paxton Reflected rotor inertia is a double edged sword. The advantage of high inertia is dynamics is simplified (your diagonal terms in M are mostly unchanged). The downside is limited torque bandwidth.
@boxcardavid I was thinking of using them to build a robot actuator. I’ve struggled with cogging torque and torque ripple (from gearboxes) before. This would be an interesting thing to try if it can reduce cogging. Thanks you.
Cool work showing how we can accelerate video generation to real time speeds! Could open up lots of real world use cases of video policies and simulations.
I've read multiple times that Reddit 1.0 was written in Lisp. I didn't realize the source is public.
It's amazing. You can read the whole thing in one sitting. Even an undergrad could. It's like the essence of a…Reddit.
We took a wrong turn w/ software.

Large language models (LLMs) can readily convert language instructions into high-level plans.
However, should we trust robots to execute these plans without verifying that they actually satisfy the instructions and are feasible in the real world?

@airindiain @VittalS_ The DM doesn’t help at all. When I DMed @airindiain, all I got for a response was ‘ we can’t do anything. Please contact airport staff’. This is just wrong. @RNTata2000
@ozzmanchan@ganeshkram @Raj98881 I tried canceling the ticket. @airindiain folk don’t seem to know that the flight never took off and there is no procedure yet to cancel the ticket.
