@michaelxpettis High cost of cutting hours and not changing wages can be tempered by replacing workers by AI. That way they could theoretically raise hourly wages without affecting productivity.

@IamZeroIka Trading is a losing game for 95% at least of people. If you re not willing to commit the insane amount of time, energy and money to get good at it, there are absolutely no doubt most people would be better off doing other businesses. Besides it is very hard psychologically.

@Daniel113399@DariusDale42 For the early birds, maybe, but the excess buying power would likely drive up real estate prices, making it even less affordable for future generations. I’d argue that’s one of the factors that has widened the gap between real estate prices and wages since the 1980s.
@phoenix_cr47 I kind of did the same, just aped a MO on spot. Although I'm in profit, I'm not really happy with my risk management, as if the market would have dipped further I would have occured losses above what I usually allow.
