बूढ़ी माँ ने कहा - बेटी मुझे गैस वाला चूल्हा चलाना नहीं आता ...!!

तो बेटे ने कहा - "माँ, पास वाले मंदिर में आज
भंडारा है , तुम वहाँ चली जाओ ना, खाना बनाने की कोई नौबत ही नहीं आयेगी....!!!"

माँ चुपचाप अपनी चप्पल पहनकर मंदिर की ओर
चल दीं.....

यह पूरा वाक्या 10 साल का बेटा रोहन सुन रहा था।

पार्टी में जाते वक्त रास्ते में रोहन ने अपने पापा से
कहा - पापा, मैं जब बहुत बड़ा आदमी बन जाऊंगा ना, तब मैं भी अपना घर किसी मंदिर के पास ही बनाऊंगा ....!!!"

क्योंकि माँ, जब मुझे भी किसी दिन ऐसी ही किसी पार्टी में जाना होगा तब तुम भी तो किसी मंदिर में भंडारे में खाना खाने जाओगी ना, और मैं नहीं चाहता कि तुम्हें कहीं दूर के मंदिर में जाना पड़े....!!!!

.......बेटे ने कार वापस मोड़ ली और घर पहुंचे। रास्ते में दोनों ने तय किया कि जाते ही माँ के पैर पकड़ कर माफी मांग लेंगे।

नीचे पार्किंग में कार खड़ी करके जब दोनों 10वीं मंजिल पर अपने फ्लैट में पहुंचे तो अंदर से जोर - जोर से म्यूजिक सिस्टम बजने की और कई लोगों के जोर - जोर से हँसने और बातें करने की आवाजें आ रही थीं।

बेटे ने घंटी बजाई।

अंदर से माँ जी की आवाज आई, " शारदा जी, दरवाजा खोल दीजिये, लगता है आज पिज्जा जल्दी आ गया। "

जब दरवाजा खुला तो सामने बगल के फ्लैट में रहने वाले शर्मा जी की माँ शारदा देवी खड़ी थीं।

अंदर घर में माँ जी जीन्स और पीला टॉप पहने घूम रही थीं। कमरे में उसी बिल्डिंग में रहने वाले माँ जी के हमउम्र आठ - दस महिलाएं और पुरुष थे। सभी के हाथ में ठंडी पेप्सी के ग्लास थे, और सबके पैर म्यूजिक सिस्टम में बज रहे "पानी, पानी, पानी.." गाने पर थिरक रहे थे।

बेटे - बहू को देखकर पहले तो माँ जी कुछ सकपका गईं पर फिर उन्होंने संभलते हुए कहा, "क्या हुआ बेटा, पार्टी कैंसिल हो गई क्या? कोई बात नहीं, हमारी पार्टी ज्वॉइन कर लो, मैं तीन पिज्जा और ऑर्डर कर देती हूँ।

मोरल - मोरल वोरल कुछ नहीं! बस आजकल के बुजुर्गों को बेबस, लाचार और कमजोर समझने की गल्ती कभी मत करो, क्योंकि तुम आज जिस स्कूल में पढ़ रहे हो, वो कभी वहाँ के हेडमास्टर थे!

Why is Palm Oil, Sugar, Preservatives & Color based Frozen Desserts still allowed to be sold in India? They are all over Retail Stores & Ice Cream Carts.

They are kept along with Ice Creams & children buy it. A very famous brand sells it so openly. The marketing is done just like Ice Cream. It is a bit cheaper and hence it sells.

We are becoming a Diabetic Nation. High Sugar, Chemicals and Cheap Oil is spoiling the health of the nation. Why isn't the Government or Regulatory body doing anything about it?

FSSAI team - Can you please do something about it? Our future is at stake here. Can we create some awareness regarding this, especially since summer is kicking in?

Many people got into Gold and Silver over the last two months.
There would be leveraged bets driven by the sharp increases in Gold and Silver prices every week.
The melt down of Jan 29th/30th would have hurt these positions.
The long term investors that are the Indian households will just keep holding on.
But let us keep the discourse measured and avoid the
"I told you so" tones of talking down to those who were caught in levered trades and are sitting on unsustainable losses.
The Gold and Silver trades are not over if you have staying power and avoid leverage.
The underlying trends of central bank buying, debasement of fiat currencies, governments running fiscal deficits and living far beyond their means, of the EV/AI/Renewables demand for Silver, all those trends stay intact.
If you have the capacity to hold, keep your 10-15% portfolio allocation to Gold and Silver intact.
No one can really forecast where the price goes.
But there is considerably less Gold and Silver supplied than the demand.
Will investor demand peter off now?
Maybe to some extent , there will be a negative,recency effect.
Time to be humble, to be polite to those suffering losses and to stay invested for the long term.
Central banks, debasement, dedollarisation, industrial use, lack of new supply, all are still working.
What changed was that 2 months of gains went up in flames in 2 days of selling, which was unexpected.
Markets have such moves .
Hardly anyone can predict these moves.
Conspiracy theories point to large institutions causing these cuts. We dont know, and we wont know, so why waste time and effort on that.
If you can hold a position of 10-15% of your portfolio, quietly hold it. If the fall worries you too much, liquidate on Monday.
I am still very underinvested in Gold and Silver, being a stock market follower.
And a downturn can be prolonged . But, if you hold for a decently long period, you will make satisfactory returns in Gold and Silver.
Relook at your Asset Allocation and recaliberate incremental flows from Monday as per your financial goals.
Rest is just noise .

I believe that @AdityaDharFilms has completely and single handedly changed the future of Indian cinema , be it north or south ..That’s because Duradhar is not just a film.. it is a quantum leap

What Dhurandhar achieves is not just scale, but a never before experienced vision not just in sight but in the mind . Aditya Dhar doesn’t direct scenes here… he engineers the states of minds of both the characters and us audience
The film doesn’t ask for your attention.. it commands it. From the very first shot , there’s a sense that something irreversible has been set in motion, and the audience is no longer a spectator but an accomplice to the happenings on screen

This is a film that refuses to be polite. The writing cuts with intent, the staging breathes menace, and the silences are as weaponized as the thunderous sound effects . Dhar understands that power in storytelling is not volume… it’s pressure building . Every sequence feels compressed, like a spring being wound never knowing when it will snap . And when it does, the impact is not just brutal but it is also symphonically operatic

The Performances in the film aren’t designed to be liked but they’re designed to linger long after we leave the theatre .. Characters walk in carrying history on their shoulders, and the film trusts the audience enough to read their scars rather than spoon feed their backstories. This confidence which could be easily mistaken for arrogance is precisely what marks Dhurandhar as a turning point for Indian cinema . Dhar assumes that the audience are intelligent which is the highest respect a director can pay to an audience , whereas most film makers believe in dumbing down their films

Technically, the film redraws the grammar of mainstream Indian cinema. The sound design doesn’t decorate scenes, it stalks them. The camera doesn’t observe but it circles it like a predator. Action here isn’t choreography for applause.. it’s perspectively justified and extremely ugly , the way real violence should feel.

But beyond craft, what truly elevates Dhurandhar is its intent. This is not a film chasing trends or validation. It is a solemn declaration, that Indian cinema doesn’t need to dilute itself to become successful and doesn’t need to mindlessly copy Hollywood. Dhar proved that it can be rooted and still be internationally cinematic.

When the final credits roll, you don’t feel just entertained, you feel altered. And that’s the mark of a filmmaker who isn’t just making movies, but he is reshaping the very ground that all us film makers stand on.
