It’s 2075. There is only one hospital in the entire country. It is 8 square miles in the middle of Kansas and owned by United Healthcare. Premiums are $47,000 per month. The only medications left are Ozempic and boner pills. Life expectancy is 38.
Government: “I can’t believe doctors did this to us.”
@HotshotWake This is a really interesting article and scholars working on robotics have long addressed the importance of considering robot form. I’d be happy to chat more about this; this was one of my research areas and I have been published on this topic in academic journals.
@DCHumanRights@MayorBowser@SafeDC@DCMOCA Is this a joke? I was roofied at the DC Fire annual banquet and separately was harassed for months. I honestly cannot even begin to fathom the delusional world in which you pretend to care about women. You are completely fine with ongoing sexual harassment in DC gov?
Just a few thoughts.
When you’re in a Oncology ward nobody cares how much you earn.
Nobody cares what car you drive.
Nobody cares you work late because you think work is your priority.
Nobody cares about that next promotion.
I realised this when I was sat in that ward.
@dcfireems@nbcwashington@foodbankmetrodc I find it wild that DC leadership has time to attend this, but can’t be bothered to fix the discrimination, harassment, and assault issues in the department. Make it make sense. It’s been over 5 months…nothing has been done. But they “value” integrity and accountability.
@Meagan_Flynn DC doesn’t even have a functioning 911 system thanks to OUC. I don’t think this is shocking at all given that most DC agencies are poorly managed by people who have been promoted beyond their levels of competence or by unethical leadership. It’s a symptom of a larger problem.
📢It is #WorldPancreaticCancerDay.

Nearly a third of all women experiencing violence in their lifetime is not “normal”, it’s a global failure. The WHO calling this a public health emergency should be a wake-up call - not a headline we scroll past.

As I continue to dig, write, and uncover some truly shocking new truths (and yes, I know I still owe you stories on Substack — they’re coming), I needed to drop this tonight.
The survivors who have come forward are unimaginably brave.
They had every reason to be afraid of this network.
The latest data drop shows Epstein was tracking them in real time (down to the minute) getting updates on their identities, court filings, subpoenas, deposition schedules, and which Jane Does had been served.
A system of enablers surrounding him, feeding him intel.
Bravery looks like this 👇
@MayorBowser@dcfireems@DCPoliceDept Seriously? You say this knowing that DC Fire leadership knows about sexual harassment and assault and took no corrective action to protect any of the women who have been harassed and assaulted at work? You all have been sued multiple times for the same thing. There is no justice
