Kenyan seers once advised sending the brightest youth to study colonial systems and reclaim sovereignty. Instead, those educated elites moved into the master's house.
Alienated by an education that prioritized individual status over community, they now rely on private solutions, gated walls, private schools while public systems collapse.
Did the Kenyan elite become the very obstacle to the independence they were meant to secure?

Nigerians want a better country, but not only do they promote models designed against this ambition, they also actively work against models that can deliver it.
How can you desire wealth equality, yet dream of billionaire capital owners running your country.

Pan-Africanists are and have always been right about everything. It's really just as simple as that.
Whether you have the moral fortitude and intellectual humility to haul yourself over the 60-metre high obstacle that is your own petty ego is another matter entirely.

Jeffrey Sachs: Unity Is Key To Defeating U.S. Divide-and-Conquer Strategy In Africa
Economist and Author Jeffrey Sachs believes that Africa's only chance of defeating US imperialism and achieving industrialisation lies in collective action by the continent's 55 countries.
Speaking in November 2025 at the Gordon Institute of Business Science in Johannesburg, South Africa, Sachs stated that the US actively impedes the African unification project because a unified Africa would not be a source of cheap industrial inputs anymore.
The solution according to him, is for Africa to do away with the idea of carrying out industrial transformation at a national level 55 different times, and embrace unity so that a single continental push can emerge, which will be much harder to stop.

For too long, our democracy has oscillated between election cycles and disillusionment. We must transition from reactive outrage to systematic, constitutional action grounded in the very institutions our 2010 Constitution provides.
Leadership changes when citizens move from anger to organization, from protest to strategy, and from election-day participation to continuous constitutional action. Kenya does not lack citizens who want change. We need citizens organized to deliver it. #GetitDone #ReKe
