watched that new show one day on netflix last night and safe to say it emotionally destroyed me don’t think i have ever cried that much over a tv show before. no words just wow.
I’ve suffered from depression and anxiety for over 25 years.
I thought I’d share some things that help me. Not medical advice but rather trial and error through many dark days of personal experience.
Here are 10 things that help me battle anxiety and depression… (1/12)
It has come to my attention that in Norway “up and not crying” is a fairly common response to “how are you” and I demand the rest of us adopt this immediately
@MediocreRespon1 I think there are lots of things to be upset about regarding that incident. I do not pretend to know what you do when faced with that scenario, but I do know it’s certainly not what happened hence why so many people were horrified and disgusted.
To catch a copper on channel 4 is absolutely horrific, even the fact of being arrested under ‘public nuisance’ for attempted suicide is vile, disgusting way to treat someone in crisis !
@MediocreRespon1@AlexBrushsteel@raerunner68 Whether you are a regular or one off situation, should be treated with the same care and humility - spoken to her like a human being from the beginning and showed some compassion would have led her to a completely different reaction to them, her actions were reactions
@MediocreRespon1 My point was more around the fact with the charge being ‘public nuisance’, completely derogatory to someone who is in crisis if that makes sense - in general not just this case. Your point below about being moved to ‘safety’ - I’m not quite sure what was safe about any of that?
@acm9504 This is exactly what I thought, I really thought the end was going to show that they got what they deserved , and it was the absolute opposite and is terrifying to think they are still working with the public , I hope the public backlash after air will amount to something !
@Patrick66013298 A woman that clearly has trauma and those officers were totally desensitised and inhumane , all about having power over someone and treating them horrifically to amuse themselves !
Well #24hoursinpolicecustody was a shocking one - showing just how broken our mental health services are (or non-existent) and how that impacts everyone. Pretty sad all round
