One interesting thing I’ve noticed about releasing music is that when you focus only on your local audience as a new artist, they often don’t care that much. But the moment you focus on a global audience and it gains traction, suddenly the local audience wanna fuck with your shit
The best music producers understand psychology, arrangement, songwriting, recording, and artist development. Making beats is only one small part of the job.

Drake's multi-album run feels less like a normal release strategy and more like market domination. More music more streams, playlists, debates, data, and attention. In today’s industry, attention is currency, and volume can become a business weapon. The risk is oversaturation.
Got into the CBA for Africa program earlier this year and it has been an amazing ride so far.
Love how much emphasis is placed on leadership and community.
Can’t wait for the next phase.❤️🔥

I've always been fascinated by how the recording industry works in Nigeria. @cbaforafrica has helped me understand it to a great extent. #cbaforafrica26 is far from just theoretical knowledge. You actually get to work on projects with a team to fully understand how it works! #AMG
The beginning of greater prosperity for Africa music scene is now here and class 26 of the @cbaforafrica cohort is here to lead let’s go 🔥🔥 #cbaforafrica
I have so many stories that lead up to joining the 2026 @cbaforafrica cohort. Maybe one day I’ll tell them, maybe I won’t 🌚but one thing is for sure… Joining the program is hands down one of the best decisions I made this year. #cbaforafrica
Understanding key aspects of music publishing royalties from a composition/songwriting and a master recording one translating to added value with mechanical, sync or performance royalties has been key on this journey through @cbaforafrica#CBAForAfrica2026
Before joining @CBAforAfrica, I had always been curious about how the music business truly works. I wanted to understand how songs get pushed to the world, how successful managers and labels help artists grow and stay relevant for decades,
One of the biggest things I’ve learned from the CBA program so far is that there is really no fixed blueprint or fast route to success in the creative industry like many of us once believed.

Before I knew the music industry was an actual industry — I was just a kid obsessed with the music, the videos, the art.
@cbaforafrica didn’t just teach me. It confirmed what I always felt and showed me the structure behind it.
Before #CBAForAfrica26, I thought the music business was mostly about talent.
Now I’m learning it’s also about community, storytelling, positioning, culture, and understanding people.
The biggest lesson so far?
Real growth happens when creative people build together, not alone.
As a Talent Manager, this experience is helping me see the industry from a wider lens, and I’m excited to keep learning, growing, and applying it all in real time.
