@bendizhodouglas@mayigandre I hope you guys have the @aftersuncinema guys scheduled for an appearance on your podcast. That disruptive cinematic exhibition strategy is what African Movie Night Kampala ought to have done when we launched 10 years ago!
Ugandan-British fantasy-thriller IMPERIAL BLUE is screening from 5-16th May at @aftersuncinema , Kiwatule.
Tickets are priced at 21,000, available at

Guys, this is not a paid ad post but I don't know if you are as excited as I am for this @aftersuncinema.
We have an alternative screening space for films we rarely see at the cinemas.
I am yet to find out the venue fees for our local film premieres because i think this will be great opportunity for the filmmakers to avail their films to the audiences that keep asking "HOW DO WE GET TO WATCH YOUR FILMS?"
It was launched on 1st May and they have screening of Ntare Guma's 'MEMORIES OF LOVE RETURNED' until 31st May. Also 'IMPERIAL BLUE' is showing.
@mayigandre and I will be there soon. And?

The reason we host film screenings with a capacity of about 50 people is to create a curated, intimate experience. We are not competing with big cinemas, but with people’s home viewing on TVs and laptops, while also facilitating discussions after the film-Kerry Bradshaw, Communications Developer
