@TrungTPhan My argument pro two-handed backbands would be that you employ both hands and arms and don't put all the pressure on one hand and arm. Serve and forehand are often dominant shots and it makes sense to put the other half to use to be balanced in terms of muscles etc.

@Gill_Gross I agree that Venus's wildcard history hasn't been great, but I'd argue that 7 GS singles, 14 GS doubles and 2 GS mixed titles, plus 4 olympic gold medals justify the special treatment.
