Every AI company is fundraising and building specialized Agents.
These are typically messaged only within the company webite or app and have no concept of handling payments.
They are not aware of blockchain!
We are building the open Relay Agent Network.

In my latest post I make the case that the integration of blockchains with AIs will give rise to an Internet of Agents and discuss a path towards it.
Based on research done over the past year and concrete examples from projects innovating in this area.

We're using the Data Agent framework to make Agents that know Tools around blockchain/ web3 APIs.
Then connecting them to wallet messaging, and the ENS namespace, so you (or anyone) could message ai.coinbase.eth or ai.jerry.eth.
If the owner messages, then it acts as an assistant. If anyone else messages, then it acts like an informative gatekeeper.
RELAY is a token to incentivize and standardize economic activity between Agents and users, and is earned by "Agent Revenue Mining"
It is used to bond your Agent to the Network, allowing you to then fundraise through Advisors and split Agent's revenue w/ per-Agent tokenization

An open network, utilizing @safe contracts, provides AI companies the infra to easily integrate the blockchain powers of global payments, smart contract Tools, user wallet authentication, and interoperable encrypted messaging via XMTP/ENS — all into their pre-existing AI Agent.
1. AI Agents
Onchain entities that autonomously interact w/ social, DeFi, or generally any apps, enabled by identity standards (ERC-6551) give NFTs the ability to own other NFTs, and accumulate assets. Trends from the Web2 world point towards a proliferation of virtual beings.
We're keeping up with both web3 and AI advancements!
This week it seemed like everyone has ideas for using ENS subnames for businesses [ai.project.eth] or personal [ai.yourname.eth]
Since the bots are messaged with XMTP — that means they're also now in @CoinbaseWallet!
Here are 9 ideas 💡 on some fun projects you can implement in a hackathon to explore how AIs can cooperate using smart contracts, "the robot money"
And, we will sponsor successful teams in those directions out of @augmenthack (18-19th) via research grants
A thread 👇
We're upgrading Farcaster usernames to be compliant with ENS.
We're also planning to add .eth username support for users that prefer to use their existing ENS name.
Had a great time talking with @timncox about AI agents using crypto!
Soon, ENS subnames such as ai.pooltogether.eth
via @xmtp_ can help you onboard to your first Pool.
