@flyvolaris you are the worse. Overbooked flight, changing my flight without notice, will not refund my seat I paid for and now you lose my luggage. #basura
Congratulations to our staff members who recently hit the five-year mark with the @CityofSanDiego. Public service is a noble calling and these individuals - along with thousands of City employees - work hard every day to make San Diego a better place for all!
I'm working to bring forward a new ordinance soon that will create rules for people living out of vehicles. We're also expanding our successful Safe Parking program to provide more places for people to stay with supportive services that help move them into long-term housing.
Senior Community Rep Anthony George for the Mayor's Office just dropped off our staff's 500-pound contribution to the annual @SDPD_MCCRO and SD Asian Youth Organization rice drive. Cheering them on as they hope to break 2017's haul of 36,000 pounds.
When this was brought to my attention, it was a no-brainer. Listening to our residents and business owners and applying a little common sense goes a long way toward helping our communities stay clean and safe.

Today young San Diegans got the opportunity to go deep sea fishing through a program call HOOK - Honoring Our Outstanding Kids - in appreciation for their leadership and helping out at rec centers throughout the city. Looks like they had a successful day on the water!
D6 staffer, @luis_pallera, & @ageorge619 from the @SDMayorsOffice, proclaimed today as "Kathryn Ruiz Day" in the @CityofSanDiego. San Diego extends its deepest gratitude and appreciation to Kathryn Ruiz for three decades of outstanding service and best wishes on her retirement.
Anthony George from the Mayor's Office was recently named the 2018 Member of the Year by @SD_PANPAC Law Enforcement Association for his support and community engagement efforts! Congrats, Anthony, and keep up the good work!
