@AvrilJonesPhoto @JolyonMaugham@GoodLawProject Referencing @Loancharge and the lack of HMRC scrutiny on the scheme owners who are known Tory donors ...
HMRC chose to persecute the scheme users knowing the schemes were mis-sold and ignore the owners.
(too tough a nut to crack was the phrase used...)
@HMRCgovuk Wow! I thought you had to use a sense of smell?
Took you over 20years and retrospective taxation to highlight offshore schemes, yet you failed to communicate to the UK population or stop the schemes - the schemes are still in operation today.
Schemes are run by Tory donors! ...
UK Politics is no longer about the improving the UK; it is about the party looking after the party.
This is everything that is wrong with UK Politics.
@Conservatives@GOVUK@UKLabour@BBCPolitics
@NickFerrariLBC@Keir_Starmer How will Labour manage HMRC given the misinformation of @loancharge, the poor communication of law; the duplicity of tackling scheme owners vs users; The use of 'BI nudge teams' without understanding impact; being held to account for 8 suicides?
A perfect example of why @HMRCgovuk needs reform as claim, IN COURT, that "law always clear" as in secret internal manual which not published!!
You can't make this up!! #LoanCharge#Hoey

@FairMinistry@hmtreasury Fairness and legality vs £3bn egg in face ... so much for morality or the lives of the families with this retrospective millstone around their necks...
@JimHarraHMRC not answering the question about legal basis for @loancharge@BorisJohnson not answering questions about parties
@Conservatives not standing up for truth
@loancharge victims retro-penalised for using legal schemes that were knowingly sold under HMRC's watch;
#RT@loanchargeAPPG: Once again @HMRCgovuk have made contradictory statements, this time about the existence of the Serial Avoiders Unit (that has been used to unfairly stigmatise some people facing the #LoanCharge).
Such contradictory statements furth…
@ftukpolitics@HMRC policing? - they will apply a retrospective tax (like @loancharge) regardless of legal case, or inaction to communicate or close down the 'legal mis-selling of polices'.
@RishiSunak@RishiSunak - just checking there are no strings attached, no hidden interest rates.
My @loancharge experience shows that Govt/HMRC make changes retrospectively - when they know products are being mis-sold without warning the general public. (and with no evidenced legal basis)
