@toscalix @castrojo @zygoon @slimbook There are a good couple of those on the market - there is system76, starbook, framework, slimbook etc. I have been on a system76 for a while but the problem I have will all these is that the display and battery are usually mediocre and Ryzen options are slim.

The #ubiquiti story of the last updates:

1. Switch upgrade - hundreds of random MAC clients in the UI
2. #Unifi OS upgrade - 1/2 maximum ISP bandwidth
3. Updated Unifi Protect - cameras were dissociated and UI adoption fails
4. AP upgrade - some devices don't connect anymore

@TechTravelGuy Each of these upgrades were incremental stable release of the past 1-2 months. I can get onto the specific version for each one of them.

2. Workaround: disable smart queues.
3. No fix and no reply on my support ticket.
4. Workaround: disable band steering.

@Ubiquiti, what is going on? Is the general consensus to never upgrade because otherwise, I don't understand how this is usable?

I have always been a @Ubiquiti fanboy throughout their product lines but man, the support can be easily coded as:
1: new #support ticket
2: ask for the latest OS update and a debug file
3: wait enough so that a new OS version is released
4: GOTO 2
