The situation with the tea farmers is just one of the very many challenges small holder farmers are facing.
We would like to stress that this is not just an issue of prices but an issue of LACK OF A POLICY FRAME WORK to regulate the tea industry in Uganda.

We need female farmers and workers- but first, we must address the gender gap. 👩‍🌾Even though women produce around 60-80 percent of the world’s food, they often don’t own the land they farm on and receive very little profit from their work.
