I can't forget the day this verse struck me,
I lived through it
and subhanallah the ecstasy is quite different when you get to experience a verse from the glorious Qur'an
Dear @officialABAT Today marks 159 days since the abduction of schoolchildren in Mussa and 113 days since students were abducted in Lassa, both in Askira/Uba LGA of Borno State.
How long must these families continue to suffer? How long must these children remain forgotten?

Innalillahi wainna ilaihi raji'un 😭💔
Seeing people whom you know personally and live together with them, are in captivity is a pain words can hardly explain 💔
Allah ya kubutar dasu
Dan Allah include them in your prayers
Dear @CityBoyMedia This is a challenge. Use the same structure for mobilizing votes, to heal peoples suffering too. Instead of spending millions of naira on campaign gifts, let every state coordinator optimize 3 primary healthcare centres with solar power, running water and medical supplies. That would reduce the 27,000 dysfunctional PHC's we have by 111.
@STinubu@Cboysmovement@CITY_BOYS_SE_26 @cityboysmovement @BashirAhmaad@Waspapping_@M__Yahas Just tagged the few that I know, let’s please take up the challenge 🙏
Today is World Mental Health Day, and all I can say is that the past year has taken a devastating toll on Nigerians.
From the rising cost of living that has plunged families into abject poverty, to insecurity that has claimed hundreds of lives, fake products and medicines endangering lives, and the abduction of hundreds of people, including the Borno schoolchildren who have been in captivity for over four months.
I cannot begin to imagine the mental and emotional trauma these children and their parents are enduring.
My passionate appeal to Mr President @officialABAT on this day is simple: please rescue these children and #BringBornoChildrenHome, alongside all other Nigerians held in captivity. We must also put an end to the incessant killings across different parts of our country.
The mental well-being of Nigerians cannot be separated from their safety, security, and ability to live with dignity. Our people deserve better.

One of the most important things you can do for yourself is believe that good things are still coming your way.
Even when everything feels uncertain, life gets harder and there isn’t any results. The most powerful thing you can do is still believe and hope.
Your conscience might have been bought over. There was a time you were all part of us calling out the failure of the govt. There was a time you also were angry, at least as we thought, that kidnappers and bandits are making life miserable for our people & we all agreed that the govt has failed to secure them. No amount of stipend or Goodwill from the govt of today will get you out of your poverty, especially that it is the poverty of the heart. You can do everything possible to justify what you do today, but remember one thing; "𝘼𝙠𝙬𝙖𝙞 𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙧 𝙆𝙞𝙣 𝘿𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙞", and "History will never forget where you stand, especially when you know that whatever you're doing is for your selfish gain.
While much of the world innovates, produces, and competes for excellence, too many Nigerians are trapped in the daily struggle to survive, searching for someone wealthy or politically connected enough to pay their bills.
We have built a culture where knowing someone often matters more than knowing something, where loyalty to powerful individuals can be more rewarding than competence, and where bright young people are reduced to defending, flattering or doing the dirty work of those who control opportunities.
Perhaps the saddest part is how ordinary this has become.
We beg elected officials for what functioning institutions should provide. We celebrate politicians for distributing a fraction of the public resources entrusted to them. We mistake personal generosity for good governance and proximity to power for progress.
Of course, poverty leaves people with difficult choices. A hungry person cannot be lectured about political independence. But there is something deeply troubling about a system that sustains dependency and then rewards itself for offering occasional relief.
Nigeria has no shortage of talent, ambition or enterprise. Yet too much of our collective energy goes into seeking favours rather than building anything lasting.
Somewhere along the way, we began to see ourselves as beneficiaries of political power rather than citizens from whom that power derives.
And perhaps that is our most sobering loss: a country of millions, increasingly dependent on the goodwill of a few, forgetting that those few are supposed to serve the many.
Your region has been burning of insecurity. Poverty & employment isn't a news because you're yourself unemployed. There was a time you yourself speak against the failures of the govt & vowed to stand against it not because of anything but because it has failed to attend to all our pressing needs!
Then boom! You were called to the table. Then you were handled some stipends or promises. Suddenly, your eyes closed. You are now OK with the thousands of lives lost daily. With the continuous hardship that yourself is a witness. With the flawed policies that haven't resolved any of our problems.
Our prayers to you is simple: May Allãh SubhanaHu wata'ala handle your affairs the way they have been handling the affairs of the nation. 🤲

This is a heartfelt video capturing the painful reality of the parents of the abducted Borno schoolchildren and the heartbreaking experiences of the team that visited them.
I appeal to everyone, irrespective of political affiliation, to join us in calling for the immediate and safe release of these children.
This is not about politics. It is about innocent children, grieving parents, and lives that matter.
Please watch, share, tag as much Government officials as you can and speak up. Let us put politics aside and stand together for these families.

On Wednesday, @HumAngle_ will publish one of the most consequential investigations into ISWAP and Boko Haram.
The findings raise disturbing questions about what we think we know about this insurgency, the actual number of fighters, the vast civilian population living under their influence and control, and, perhaps most troubling, the next generation of fighters being prepared.
The revelations should force us to reconsider the scale of the threat and what the future may hold.
If you care about Nigeria’s security, stability and the future of the Lake Chad Basin, this is an investigation you cannot afford to miss.
Do you people remember Abba, the NYSC corps member who was kidnapped?
We were here when he was kidnapped. We watched those horrific videos of him being beaten and humiliated by his captors. Some of us couldn’t even watch without crying. We watched his family struggle, and Nigerians came together to raise money for his ransom. The kidnappers demanded 10m, the money was raised and paid, and they still came back with more demands.
At one point, his family even feared he had been killed and prepared for a funeral prayer. Then another video surfaced showing that he was still alive in captivity. Imagine what his family and everyone following his story went through.
And now I see some of the same people who were here crying, raising money and demanding action suddenly doing PR for the same government while acting like insecurity is no longer an issue.
How do you forget this easily?
