Maulana @mahmoodAmadani , the President of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, has expressed his profound condemnation of the ongoing violent war in Palestine, particularly the attacks on civilians and the heavy bombardment of residential areas. He passionately appeals for an immediate cessation of the war declared by Israel.
Maulana Madani has demanded immediate intervention and concrete action from the international community, including the @UN Security Council and the Arab League, among others.
Maulana Madani stated that Jamiat stands in #SolidarityWithPalestine people, who have endured 75 years of Israeli occupation and violence, resulting in their current dire circumstances. They find themselves living as prisoners in their own homeland, unwaveringly striving for their homeland's freedom and the preservation of #Masjid al #Aqsa.
Maulana Madani underscores that the root cause of the conflict, namely the occupation of Palestinian territories by #Israel, must be resolved according to the parameters agreed upon by the United Nations.
Furthermore, Maulana Madani voices his deep concern and disappointment regarding the biased portrayal of the ongoing war in the India’s national media, which unjustly characterizes the Palestinian struggle for their rights as "terrorism." He highlights the consistent support for the Palestinian cause by India's eminent leaders, including Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Nehru, and Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
On this occasion, Maulana Madani appeals to the Prime Minister of India to play an influential role in mediating the Israel-Palestinian conflict. He urges the Prime Minister to leverage his influence to advocate for enduring peace, rooted in principles of justice, and to safeguard the lives of innocent civilians. Utilizing this influence judiciously not only serves our nation's interests but also upholds our duty to humanity.
