She ruled as Defense Minister. She lived decades as an elite of Maldives. Her ex-husband milked the MIFCO scandal in the 80s–90s. Who benefited? Their household. Ordinary ppl cld never dream of that kind of money.

When caught, Maumoon didn’t punish her. He protected her. Ask yourself… wld an “ordinary” Maldivian be saved by a dictator?

Then she switched sides, joined MDP. Not bc of belief, bc that’s where the power went. Always on the winning team. Always eating. Ordinary ppl don’t get that luxury.

2018–2023. Again Defense Minister. That gov printed money like crazy. Borrowed endlessly. Today’s inflation, today’s debt crisis… it’s their legacy. And she was right there at the top.

Does she feel the pinch at the shops? At the pump? No. She’s sitting on decades of wealth made through corruption. Ordinary ppl are counting coins. She never has to.

Now she says “ordinary people like us.” This isn’t vague. It’s self-inclusion. She’s putting herself in the same line with the ppl she exploited.

It’s not humility. It’s manipulation. It’s pretence.

And it insults the intelligence of every Maldivian who knows the truth.

Ordinary people? No. She is not us. She never was. She never will be.
