1/6 here's some insight into my work
My mind is chaotic
I live with autism, agoraphobia, bpd, depression, anxiety, complex ptsd + more
There is often a sense of stillness in my work with an undercurrent of turbulence/chaos and hidden emotion that I often try to capture
@AlliEng9 ๐ Aha you make a fair point. And hmmm not really my style but living a life of excess as a way of temporarily blocking out my trauma isn't new to me at all, so.. I'll never say never ๐
I agreed at the time but I didn't take it too seriously.
2 days before the show I had no work that I felt comfortable presenting and I started to panic.
In midst of almost calling up and quiting I decided to try something new
1/4 @loopify To be very honest, I don't favour one artwork over the other. They have all equally served a purpose.
I don't get too attached to my work either.
& once 'completed', I've been known to discard and disregard my work. I've thrown away more than half! (continued..)
I've sold traditional artwork before, pastel figure drawings & portraits in ink. But Ive never felt much remorse.
Saying this, one or two do still stick with me to this day
It was maybe 5 or more years ago when a family member encouraged me to participate in a local exhibition.
@Crypto888crypto Everything is an illusion
Reality is a construct
A nessesity for survival, many succumb to madness without it. It protects us from our higher self until we can handle it.
